The conservatory part of the restaurant looks out onto a nice garden, which I would imagine would be a great place to relax in good weather with great views over Menai straight. The menu is lengthy enough, but lacks any imagination, with nothing different to any other standard pub fair. A lot of it seems to come straight from the... More

The Victoria Hotel in Menai Bridge provided an excellent 3 course meal for our group of 29 . Very good service in a comfortable dining room overlooking the garden to the rear of the hotel. Good public rooms. As we all live close by we aren't able to review the hotel bedrooms , however a number of the bedrooms have... More

Good place to stay for an all male golf group. Busy Hotel with function room for private parties etc. Really good breakfasts and large car park but difficult at times to find a space due to the popularity of the hotel. Rooms a bit on the small side but fine and clean and tidy. I would certainly recommend to stay... More

Stayed here with 11 golfers and we had a great stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff all really friendly and helpful - and the breakfasts were some of the best I have ever had!! Location is perfect for exploring the island or just for the town itself which has a number of bars and restaurants. The hotel... More

Stayed here for a weekend as my husband was doing a powerboat course down the coast. Hotel, pub and restaurant. Easy to find plenty of parking. Arrived Friday night to find the place packed as there has been a wake on and they also had a band coming on as part of the normal entertainment for the weekend. We opted... More

Always go to the lounge bar here with a mate if I'm in Menai Bridge, there's a great, relaxed atmosphere, and the door staff on a Saturday night ensure there's no trouble. I think there's a bar in the hotel the younger people go in, but it's the comfortable lounge bar for us every time. A decent range of drinks,... More

We have stayed at this hotel many times and keep returning. A warm welcome is always received. Rooms are clean comfortable and some have lovely views over the strait and bridge. Breakfast is lovely cooked the way you like them, and sitting in the conservatory over looking the gardens is always nice. Disabled facilities are good and the wheelchair is... More

Interesting place, with good service and good food. No lift so as we were on top floor a lot of stairs, but view of Menai straights worth the effort. Room cosy, was a bit tight for space but plenty of cupboard space. We did have a problem with the room heating but after asking for help got substitue heaters to... More

We went to visit Bangor university, the staff at the hotel were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The food in the restaurant was absolutely outstanding and the views over the water from the breakfast table were stunning. The decor is a little dated but that takes nothing away from the overall quality of the hotel. We are... More
