The Lodge is a new building at the side of the Chateau, furnishings are nice but walls and floors are thin with noise plumbing, you can hear everytime another guest uses water or shower or shuts a door. Food is really nice and staff polite and helpful, the grounds are fantastic with great views but don't expect to be in...

Hello cdl742, Thank you for your review of your stay at Chateau Rhianfa. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay, and enjoyed the restaurant also. Our Rhianfa Lodge is a separate part of the hotel, which we do encourage guests to book into as a different experience to the Chateau itself; with its newly refurbished, New England style, breath...

Stayed one night in the Menai suite following husband completing the Tour de Môn. Lovely service and staff. The evening meal in the Rouge Dragon restaurant was delicious. Very relaxing time. Only gripe was that more staff should be available to clear up after the afternoon tea service. Plates were left a little too long.

Really there aren't words. Disappointing doesn't begin to cover it. We were shown to our room down a passageway that smelt of pee. We had to ask for robes and a hair dryer which are meant to be in the room as standard. We can draw a veil over dinner but suffice to say the charming waiter gave us a...

Good Day Sirs, I am saddened that you chose not only to put a veil over dinner, but also extended this to our grounds, views, history and other renowned features we have here at Chateau Rhianfa. Though as a highly successful business we have become used to occasional overstated and occasionally false reviews such as this. I hope that on...

I booked a nights stay, and our room was small but nicely decorated and very clean. We had reserved a table in the restaurant as it was for my mums birthday, we decided to order the soup to start which was curried parsnip, but when we tasted it, it was very hot and should of never reached our table. My...

Arrived and checked in asked for afternoon but told that had to be booked 2hrs in advance (room service was avaiable so it wasn't a staffing problem), when shown to the room found the view was not of the Manai Straits but the roofs of other buildings and the sky. The carpet and bed were filthy the only thing passable...

Thank you for your review and I'm sorry you felt your stay was not as it should be as its something we really pride ourselves on. I stayed in the William's Room with my husband for 3 nights and expectations were high after a friend previously stayed here. Took my wife for a birthday treat a week ago. Disaster from moment of arrival. For £250 a night one expects a bit of luxury and elegance. We got to our room in the lodge. Really loved this place - views are lovely, staff welcoming & friendly. I can only think it would be amazing at Christmas in the fabulous lounges. You may just want to ask for a room with a firmer mattress if you'd prefer one.
