Visited here for Sunday dinner as a family group. Place has recently been refurbished - and that's reflected in the price hike of pretty much everything. Sunday roast was pretty awful. "Fresh cooked" roast beef had been under a heat lamp for so long it was all curled up at the edges. Nothing on the entire plate was hot enough... More

Warm towel rail in toilet leaking water, found out at 9.30pm but as we are both in our night clothes and no phones in the room rather restricted. Very small cupboard to hang clothes like children wardrobe!!!! Two nights to go let's see. Not impressed at... More

My second stay while on the Wales Coast Path; excellent location for the path, pubs and restaurants; quiet comfortable room with a bath which is always nice after a long day walking; good atmosphere and ales in the bar downstairs; massive breakfast although timely service and attention was lacking.

Booked a couple of nights at the hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Rang the hotel a couple of days before to organise some champagne and chocolates for my wife as a little surprise. They obviously have champagne in the bar but one of the staff members purchased the chocolates out of her own purse and I reimbursed her when... More

Not our first stay here & wont be our last. Room 'Beaumaris' on 2nd floor very nice. All the rooms we have stayed in have been very good. Spacious clean & warm. Nice little toiletries available too. Before these were not provided. Had couple drinks in the bar ten headed out to Dylan's for another excellent dinner.

Room was nice, clean, spacious no problems there. However room was cold and Radiator despite turning up to full was luke warm and insufficient to heat room. I woke up early as had to leave at 7:30 and unfortunately had to take a cold shower ( lovely in November in a cold room ) so on this basis I'm rating... More

Anglesey Arms is a lovely place to stay. The room was a twin because it was the only one left at the time of booking. It was modern and very nicely decorated. Although there was a very busy bar and restaurant downstairs the room was very quiet. It was spotless and had tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, soap, shampoo... More

Place quiet, average food, average service. Good location and could have been a lot better. Ham with duck egg not bad, steak not great value, fish poor quality. Chips soggy. Wine selection very limited.
