What a lovely welcome we were given by all the staff. They were chatty, informative and fun. The chef was excellent, made a special trout dish for my wife which she really enjoyed. We stayed in a courtyard room which was spacious and comfortable. Excellent value for money, my only slightly negative comment would be that the public areas were...

Thanks for being so welcoming, we've got an overnighter in Anglesey and decided to stay at The Bull. We were not looking for anything grand and just a nice clean hotel with good food. The Bull is not a marble Palace nor would we want it to be but it was a nice clean hotel with very cheerful and helpful...

My job takes me up and down the UK, requiring frequent hotel/ B&B stays. I have been accommodated in some good rooms and some that I have vacated immediately. The Bull sits in the middle. My single room was clean and tidy but the carpets were coming away from the skirting boards in places. The hotel itself needs sprucing up...

Nice building, in the centre of the town. I've previously lived on Anglesey for 18 years, but moved away some 19 years ago. I therefore get treated like a tourist, but as a Welsh speaker, can figure out if staff are unhappy or if something is not going to plan. Tonight was one of those nights. The lady who greeted...

Impeccable service through and through! Very homely atmosphere, nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we felt right at home. We booked last minute and they really went out of their way to make us enjoy our stay! It's the little things which make a place really stand out, from the staff saying goodnight to the quick service...

Without doubt the worst meals we have ever encountered, The only good thing about the whole experience was the staff Chef? not included. The bar side of the pub was nice and the bar staff really helpful and friendly.

A good coaching inn atmosphere at The Bull - the bars are a nice place to chill and the restaurant is smart and does great food. Plenty of choice on the menu and a good range of beers too, all focusing on local produce.

This place needs some overdue TLC. It's old, tired and creaking in a lot if places. However the staff are lovely and the food is very good, both dinner and breakfast. The rooms are dated and need overhauling sooner than later.
