Pleasantly surprised at the welcome received. Attentive staff with good quality food at reasonable prices. Fresh lobster locally sourced and very tasty. Food served 12 - 3 then from 6 till 9 every day. Accommodation available but not seen.

A mix up with a booking via booking .com. The hotel had been told too late for us even though we booked two months before. We were given a cheaper room at the back of the hotel with no view. Just returned from Anglsea Wales were we stayed at The Harbour Hotel and B&B. This place is also a bar come restaurant and situated near the harbour - hence the name ! Ok so we had our dog with us so maybe we shouldn't expect the best of everything as it could cost the owners a great deal should expensive... More

On arrival was advised that due to a mix up, we had been allocated a different room to that booked but would be given a discount. Friendly staff good evening meal and breakfast , liked the public bar no aires and graces only drawback were the beds , rock hard had better nights camping!! , other reviews mentioned the hotel needed painting but didn't bother me it was better than a tent!, but please sort the beds , would return again

We'd tried to park 'down's the 'quay' but it was full - so it said when we got there - duh! So up we go & find a space at the Harbour Hotel. Fairly busy inside, but the landlady was efficient & dealt with everyone. Took our drinks to the tables in the forecourt at the front overlooking the bay.... More

Yes this hotel needs some updating but the bed spotless not the biggest room but does the purpose tea coffee and biscuits extra tea ect in hallway so you don't run out food excellent big portions freshly cooked reasonably priced good hot English breakfast we were lucky having sea view beautiful views over harbour all staff good can't do enough... Lovely food but terrible service, the woman in pink (must of been the manager) was very rude and rushed us, she started to clear all of the plates while some of us were still eating and didn't offer us deserts, I asked nicely for a glass of water and she she rudely replied with a short 'OK'.
