A stylist hotel, with an excellent restaurant serving both breakfast and evening meals. The rooms are comfortable and the views amazing over to the Welsh mainland. This is a brilliant situation for walking and sight seeing.

Four of us visited the Hotel on 30th November for afternoon tea This was a revisit after over two years. We had drinks, scones and teacakes. The ambiance of this establishment is second to none and we were impressed with the Christmas decorations just put up for the season. Well done! The tea was lovely and we enjoyed the experience...

A group of us visited the Bulkeley for lunch on Sunday. The entrance was welcoming and the magnificent staircase was clothed in Christmas decorations and looked wonderful. The barman was attentive and helpful, but it all changed once we arrived in the Restaurant. We had already pre-ordered our starters and main course so assumed things would be moving pretty sharply....

Beautiful hotel and lovely surrounding area, breakfast was great however dinner left a lot to be desired the service was slow although the staff were very apologetic as they had a function on we waited 2 and a half hours for our main meal, we then left before coffee and desert, later that evening trying to sleep we were kept...

Great views of the snow and water, nicely furnished rooms very comfortable. Great quirky hotel, good location close to castle. The only down fall, breakfast was really average not that nice. Skip breakfast and enjoy a coffee and cake in the cafe instead.

Spent 3 nights in this hotel and would love to return, in the future. Staying in November, the room rates were cheaper and so we upgraded to the luxury double. The Victoria Suite was so comfortable and with fantastic views. We ate every night in the Bistro. We usually would try other restaurants but the food was too good to...

We stayed here for 3-nights this weekend. As some reviews have said some decoration may be needed but overall the hotel was clean and well kept. We found both the room and the rest of the hotel to be far too hot for us having to sleep with the windows wide open despite it being only 3 or 4 degrees...

We dined here - a three course set meal to include desert and coffee. The meal was average - nothing special. We ordered cappuccino and no dessert and were told we would have to pay extra even though we were not having dessert. We declined and asked for the bill only to be told to go to the bar and...

What a loverly hotel, full of character. Our room was clean, bed was comfy too. The staff were very friendly. The only two issues I have are as follows:- The heating. It was so hot in the hotel it made me feel ill. Our room was like a sauna and with the radiators turned off, it was still hot. So...

After seeing the Bulkeley Hotel on a visit to Anglesey I booked a luxury room for our anniversary. The room was superb with wonderful views across the Menai Stait to Snowdonia. Staff excellent from start to finish. The breakfast was one of the best we've had in a long time. Definitely will be back.
