Average hotel and food. Amazing menu but quality of food average. Very lovely and helpful staff. Surprised at all the 5 * reviews as did not think it was that spectacular. Cleanliness was ok but could be improved on especially in the bathroom. There was also a musty smell in reception and the communal areas. Will definitely not be returning. The reviews of what I read before arriving were somewhat deceptive.

Booked a King suite. Very nice room. Clean room, good size comfortable bed Good bathroom with good shower. Large room with double settee. Booked bed and breakfast. Food was excellent. We knee the weather would be what it was, rainy and windy. But we prepared for that. We would have booked for the evening meal but this wasn't available due to the time of year. All the staff we met were very nice. We would both happily rebook in better weather. It was a good base for us to have a look around Angelsey.

I had booked a last minute break for my wife and I for our anniversary but the hotel I chose was in no way up to the standard described by the website. One look at the room and we left. We passed by chance Lastra Farm and popped in hoping they could accommodate us. We were at once amazed at the professionalism and friendliness of the staff and cleanliness and facilities of the hotel which was pet friendly thankfully as we also brought our two Shitz Tzus. We stayed and ate at the on site restaurant and can only describe our meal as magnificent. The room was luxurious with great views. So impressed with all the staff and the quality of the hotel we booked another break in December around Christmas when we had planned to stay at home. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and we intend to be regular visitors from now on.

We recently stayed at Lastra Farm for3 nights. Wished it had been a week. Absolutely fantastic. The views are so beautiful. It is set in the quiet Countryside just outside Amlwch. We stayed in a Superior Room on Bed and Breakfast. Our room, was nice and big, with sofa and the usual bedroom furniture. Plus a small fridge with a small bottle of milk in. Our room was in the new low building which you will see on a photograph I have attached. The whole of the main building and the Annex building we were in , was Absolutely spotlessly clean throughout. We had our Breakfast and Evening Meal in the Restaurant. The Breakfast was superb. It was all served with no Buffet keeping to Covid Restrictions. The choice was endless. 2 mornings we had almost a full breakfast , then on the third morning had the Smoked Salmon and Scrambled Eggs. Absolutely delightful. The evening meal, was absolutely gorgeous. Such a large choice, you are spoilt. We had something different each night and we both had something different from each other Everything was piping hot, fresh vegetables and presented perfectly. The Staff were willing to do anything whatsoever . They were there to make out stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, one of the Waiters said. We cannot praise Elaine, Adrian and Dan and all the Staff for making our short holiday so thoroughly enjoyable. We cannot wait to go back. One thing you MUST book your evening meal, don’t just turn up on the night. We booked the 3 nights evening meal at the time of booking. We did book DIRECT with Lastra Farm, which I would advise, because then , you can ask any questions you want prior to going , if you have never been before,.

We stayed in the lastra hotel for a long weekend in September and what a wonderful place it turned out to be. Like many others we haven’t been on holiday for 2 years and this hotel was all we wanted and more. From the lovely Elaine always ready for a chat and every member of staff who couldn’t have been more welcoming. A special mention has to go to Cameron, who seemed to be everywhere, but went to the trouble of making delicious cocktails for myself and my daughter. The hotel itself was spotless, the accommodation roomy and comfortable, and as for the food, it was sublime. The garden was restful and the views stunning. I could go on and on. Every effort was made to supply exactly what we fancied at the breakfast table. Thank you to everyone who made this break so wonderful.
