Had a lovely three night stay at the Estuary Lodge, good location for visits to Portmeirion and Harlec Castle. We visited an August in the height of summer and were rained out for the entire stay, but were happy to spend some time in the room due to free dvd's and very reasonably priced pizza provided by the hotel. The... More

Just had 3 very relaxing in North Wales. Excellent hosts and good food with local produce some home made evening specials and top breakfast selection.. The only thing missing was a bar for pre diner drinks and a chat of the days events. The room was modern with a large firm bed and a walk in shower.

Friendly accommodation. Rooms were well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed eating in the restaurant. The atmosphere was relaxed and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was situated near local bus and train links which made getting around very easy.

A great welcome at reception and from that point on it just got better. The room was large with a great comfortable bed, table and easy chairs which gave it a homely feel. It had been recently redecorated - perfect in every respect. The large walk-in shower was ideal and there was plenty of room for all the essentials. It... More

We stayed for 3 nights, choosing the Estuary Lodge for its proximity to Portmeirion. What a discovery! Great room with fridge (with milk) and microwave. Very comfortable, huge bed, plenty of towels and toiletries - all spotlessly clean. Restaurant on site was excellent too.

We chose this accommodation because of its proximity to Portmeirion village. It didn't fail us. The room was spacious, the bed was huge, coffee making was great - no little pots of milk - a normal plastic container which meant a plentiful supply. The Bathroom had EVERYTHING you could think of. Having a fridge and microwave in the kitchen area... More

We stayed for two nights, the rooms were large, had everything you could need and were clean and comfortable. There was a private decking area at the back of our rooms which was a lovely place to sit in the evening with a glass of wine. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the food was excellent. I would... More

We booked this family run hotel/motel for our 30th wedding anniversary for it's nearness to Portmeirion and it's excellent reviews on this site. At first I teased that it reminded me of Crossroads, the '70's TV show but there are no wobbly walls to be seen. From the moment of our arrival to our departure, 3 nights later, we were... More
