First things first – this hotel is nowhere near the centre of Pwllheli, a factor that is not obvious and may be of significance to potential guests. Some have described it as a “5 minute walk”, others as a “10 minute stroll”. As a regular hiker I can say with some confidence that it is more like a brisk 10... More

The waitress at the bar: RUDE. We were the only customets in her pub, she was on her phone when we arrived. Did not even bother to give us the menu, we had to ask it. (She was not even looking at us or smiling when talking). And for the payment, it was the same! The food was OK. The... More

Pleasant and comfortable accommodation, which includes a well cooked full breakfast. Great value and my default when looking for somewhere to stay in Pwllheli. Equally good bar food in the evening in a pleasant pub atmosphere

We had a wonderful time. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff could not do enough for us. We ate in the hotel on our first night and had a really good meal. Breakfast was excellent. Location could not have been better. A beach only a minutes walk away and the town of Pwllheli a 10 minute walk. Would definately... More

The booking process was painless. On arrival, there was plenty of parking around the hotel. Very friendly staff and the food was lovely. The rooms were very clean. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

Some reviews are describing here as home away from home...really???...well I don't know what squaller they live in but it's a million miles away from how my family and I live. I can't fault the staff to be fair they were welcoming and friendly and the food was good too. However the hotel itself was awful, we were in room... More

Fully recommend a break away here. We stayed there last year and returned this year, as it has warm, friendly, welcoming staff that were very accommodating. Its in a fab location, minutes from the beach and start stroll to the shops. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean. Will definitely return here again. Thank you

We stayed here last month, July 2014, what lovely people run this hotel, both owner Liz and her staff. Rooms were adequate and clean and the food was really great, both in the evening and for breakfast. Very good location for the sea front. Will definitely return here again.

The James Clode Band took four of it's members up to Pwllheli from Cardiff to play at the Wakestock festival. Over the previous weeks the communication from Liz was excellent (phone & Text) to make sure we were equipped with everything we needed upon arrival. The rooms were immaculate, clean and cosy. We arrived on the Friday 11th to play... More

Cozy and comforting stay at the Vic. Liz was more than accommodating to our group and treated us to a lovely weekend in Pwllheli. Right on near the beach and about a 30 min drive to some of the most unbelievable locations in Wales. Would definitely stay there again on a return trip. Thanks Vic Staff!
