Had lunch. The menu gave a reasonable choice. If you have two courses then there is free entry to Portmeirion. It is not necessarily good value for money however so be careful. Having said that the surroundings were stunning and the food was well cooked and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and helpful.

the setting is impressive, a mock castle which was recently renovated with a lovely Garden. We chose to have a drink on the terrace sitting in large white outdoor settees and chairs. They went through the performance of handing us our menus to peruse whilst we had our drink but it took an age for firstly our drink orders to... More

We stumbled across Castle Deudraeth whilst touring Wales. Absolutely beautiful setting in a beautiful Victorian castle like mansion just a short walk from Portmeirion village centre. Nice garden views from the stylish brasserie, where sat in the sun and enjoyed a light lunch of scones and jam.

Its not often that you are invited to a wedding, and everyone in the party enjoys every bit of food!! The food was fabulous all day and breakfast in the morning was great too!! All of the staff in the castle are very well trained, helpful and polite. The only slight negative (and its not a big deal!) I felt... More

What a fantastic hotel this is, brilliant room, great food and friendly staff. Set above the village of Portmerion which is just a 10min walk away with spectacular views over the estuary, Castell Deudraeth is somewhere I would definitely recommend. We will make sure that we visit here again.

We got married here a few weeks ago and it was completely perfect. The venue was spot on - the accommodation and food were all exceptional and Delyth and her team deserve a special mention as they couldn't do enough for us. All in all a fantastic hotel and wedding venue.

Although we were here for just one night the friendly staff ensured a very pleasant experience from the moment we arrived. We had Castle room 2 and it was a huge, luxurious space with windows overlooking the gardens and a large comfortable bed. The Castle really is a stone built castle on the outside with a pleasant, modern interior -... More

Stayed at Portmeirion which was amazing and had dinner at the castle. It was a lovely evening and the garden was very pretty. The food was excellent. Couldn't fault any of it. Wish I'd had room for dessert. Felt that we'd had a real treat. Hope to return again. The option of lunch with ticket to Portmeirion looks good for... More
