Stayed here with my son at half term when we went mountain biking at Forest Of Dean. The place is great value and centrally located. Richard and his mother who run the Coach house were lovely and couldn’t have done more, from helping us with parking to evening meal recommendations. Special mention too to the epic breakfast which fuelled us... More

Two friends and I stayed here for 2 nights. We couldn't have been made more welcome, from the time we arrived looking for somewhere to park (our host met us and drove with us to free parking) to our final home cooked breakfast. We were also escorted to our kayaking rendez-vous on the first morning, and given two very good... More

Just a one night stay. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic, Room was spacious and clean, customer service was brilliant. Right in town, so perfect location. We had a great time in the area. Goodrich castle, 10 min drive away, was well worth a visit. We went to every pub in Monmouth (little half in each) and they were all really friendly.... More

I have stayed here numerous times in the past 18 months on business, Richard and his mum are the most welcoming and friendliest of hosts. The rooms are always clean, tidy and very comfortable and is great value for money. There is a good range and choice for breakfast, Richard is always accommodating to any specific requests. I would strongly... More

Host, Richard, takes a great deal of pride in his establishment, and his town; and it shows. Very knowledgeable and an excellent ambassador for Monmouth. Clean, quiet and comfortable room of good size and an excellent breakfast cooked by Richard himself. Central location in the heart of the town means parking may be an issue, but Richard will help with... More

We enjoyed our 2 nights at the Coach House, Monmouth. The proprietor, Richard was extremely helpful, pleasant and although being in the town centre of Monmouth allows for no parking at the hotel, he met us and showed us where to park on a nearby carpark and carried our bags for us to the hotel. A very accommodating young man, Richard... More

I stayed here for one night to attend a wedding and found this to be an ideal place to stay. The location was great, and very central, and the owners were very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful as well. The room was large, clean, and well presented.
