This was our second visit and like the first it was just fantastic. I travel a lot with my job and the bed in Berryfield is one of the most comfortable I have come across - it makes such a difference! The room itself was spacious, warm and benefits from a lovely en-suite complete with a proper shower that was...

Thank you for your lovely review. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay. It was a real pleasure looking after you - it felt more like friends visiting than B & B guests, and we hope you'll stay with us again. Kind regards Susie

Stayed one night while down for a family event. Susie was extremely helpful and welcoming, both before we arrived via email and during our stay. The rooms are beautifully furnished and very comfortable, with lovely bathrooms. Susie arranged a taxi for us and gave us a spare set of keys for our daughter to return later after the evening with...

We arrived in Monmouth via bicycle and were offered a pickup by Susie and Paul. They were outstanding hosts, very friendly and made us feel right at home from the first moment we arrived. The setting was lovely and the service first class, our room overlooked the lovely lush garden area and had a marvellous bed and luxurious bathroom with...

We were in Monmouth to celebrate a big birthday and were told about this B&B and immediately phoned to book it. Right from the start Susie was so friendly and helpful. We arrived late afternoon and immediately were shown hospitality of the highest level. The rooms were great and the breakfast awesome. Lovely view of the Gypsy Caravan from our...

We arrived in Monmouth in the late afternoon and received a very friendly response from Suzy. We were welcomed, had a chat and she showed us our room, which was well appointed and very clean. She recommended a couple of restaurants and the one we chose was excellent. We were served a delicious breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at...

I turned up hot and sweaty after walking the 17 miles from Chepstow (as part of the Land's End to John O'Groats walk) though this was mainly due to having been directed up a steep side road to the B&B rather than the gentler incline following the main road. Susie gave me a warm welcome and I immediately felt at...

Having started our walk along Offa's Dyke path in Chepstow, we arrived at Berryfield Park very much worse for wear: It is a 20 mile walk across relatively difficult terrain, with a 200 m ascent towards the end. The last mile from the centre of Monmouth to the B&B was also somewhat uphill. As if to compensate for our exertions,...

We were on a hiking trip and stayed one night at Berryfield Park. It is everything you like to have in a B&B: the room was immaculate and comfortable, beautiful surroundings, lovely hosts and a delicious breakfast in a conservatory! The only downside would be possibly for some people the distance into town if they do not have a car,...

After enquiring at pubs in the town I ended up at the very helpful Tourist Information Centre (go past the Iceland store as if you are leaving town, the TIC is next door to the Nelson Museum). They phoned a few B&B's on their list until one was found with a room available. It was my lucky day! I was...
