Typical Wetherspoons, being a Friday, although quite early (7pm) it was exceptionally busy, only found a table in a cold side room, the fish and chips were lovely, crispy batter, nice chips served with a smile (even though she must have been rushed off her...More

Located at 8 Agincourt Square in downtown Monmouth, The King's Head is undergoing some renovation, but this does not deter from the lovely Tudor exterior nor the excellent fare. We enjoyed lamb shanks with all the extras for just 3.99 pounds - obviously a special...More

We came here after spending some time in town as we are not from around here. When we arrived in the Pub, trying to find somewhere that to sit where a table has been cleared was very hard....everywhere we looked here were plates not cleared...More

I'm so sorry there was no access for the disable toilet, we had an issue with our stair lift, but I can assure you it's fixed now. Thank you for you for your feedback!

Ate in the Wetherspoons part of the hotel as visitors to the area. Most of the food was lukewarm, it took a whole hour to arrive and the service was basic. My chicken dish had undercooked bacon with very greasy chips. The staff were unhelpful...More

I don't think there's a back yard but there is a public car park within two minutes walk. There's also free on street parking within a minute too. It's a pretty safe town so you should be ok whichever way.
