I booked this hotel for a romantic weekend away combined with some hiking at Snowdon. I booked 'Emily' Room which is just gorgeous - huge room with a chaise and living area, plus an enormous bathroom with standalone bath - both rooms have great views across the valley. There is a jacuzzi that can be booked which was lovely after... More

Lovely little place in a great location although not great to get to if you have a big car as the tiny steep lanes up to it make for an interesting drive. We had the Sydney Room with the slipper bath in the bedroom. Very comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast very good. We were welcomed with tea, coffee and Welsh cakes... More

We came away for our busy lives to celebrate my husbands birthday and to relax. We booked the Sydney room, Gorgeous Gothic bed, Floor standing slipper bath with lovely views from window. Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Within an hour of checking in we were totally relaxed with glass of champagne . Angela and Sarah who looked after us had... More

I stayed at Ffynnon last weekend with my husband. Our room (Emily) was faultless. When entering it has a real wow factor .. The bath is a must after a long day walking and climbing and the toiletries were also a nice touch. The room had tea and coffee making facilities and shortbread also a nice touch. The accommodation was... More

A cute little room (Sydney) with a lovely free standing bath, delicious breakfast and very comfortable bed. Beware, you need to squeeze down some tight lanes to get here. Overall, an excellent place to stay!

Everything was lovely and good quality, including food and staff. However, not great for business. The 'desk' was an antique dresser that I couldn't get me knees under so couldn't lay stuff out and work. The wifi was prohibitively slow and the TV screen was so small I couldn't see the picture from my bed. Otherwise, good quality hotel with... More

Fantastic boutique guesthouse in a beautiful location. It was so peaceful and relaxing. There are some really lovely touches that make this a very special place to stay. The friendly owners have thought of everything! Delicious breakfasts and the honesty bar is a great idea. Wish we could've stayed longer!

We had meant to stay at Fynnon a few years ago but it was always fully booked. This time, to celebrate my 55th birthday, we managed to get a room and I am really glad that we did. The building is large, peaceful, has ample parking, and is very well located within minutes of the centre but far enough away... More

We stayed for a weekend and found Ffynnon a brilliant base. It's a very nice victorian house, tastefully decorated and furnished. It's on a quiet street minutes walk from the centre. The owner and manager are very friendly and discreet. We had a room called Annis, great room with a double aspect. Everything you'd expect. Breakfast was superb, local fresh... More

Beautiful property with really attentive service. Went extra mile to get my broken bike back home to me and to generally cater for our every need. Beautifully appointed room and delicious breakfast (although needs to start be served earlier than suggested 9am!) Will definitely be returning soon.
