Stayed here from 14th to 16th July with my wife in room 36 and what a great find this hotel is. The hotel has been tastefully modernised inside with a welcoming and comfortable lounge and bar area. Room 36 had also been tastefully modernised as I suspect all of the bedrooms have. We had booked a double bedded room and when we entered the room we found that it was twin beds. We advised reception of this and the beds were zipped together and remade within 10 minutes - amazing service. Breakfasts were freshly cooked using good quality ingredients and were served by friendly welcoming staff. Laura was particularly welcoming and professional. The Tonnau restaurant is located within the hotel and we ate here on both nights - the food is excellent and should be tried. The views from the front of the hotel over the bay towards Harlech are spectacular. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and we will definitely stay here again.

Two night weekend break. Fantastically relaxing. Room overlooked the bay and the castle. Comfy armchairs in the window to sit and watch the world go by. Loved lying in bed and hearing the sea lapping on the beach. Very attentive staff, nothing too much trouble. Restaurant very well run. Quality of food excellent. Will not hesitate to visit again.

We had one very quick night here. The hotel is in a great position over looking the sea. Parking is on the road, so you have to just drive up and drop your bags off and find somewhere to park. Hotel very clean and tidy. Room very smart and clean. The best thing about the hotel is the staff, they are really very friendly and helpful. Did not meet the owners but they are lucky to have such great front of house staff. A easy walk to all the surrounding area. Pubs and beach area all in easy reach. Was great to have such a wonderful view of the sea.
