We have just returned from a three night break at this hotel. We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary as we met in Criccieth. From start to finish the experience was top class. The room was spacious and we had a wonderful view of the castle, beach and mountains. the room was clean and the staff could not have done more... More

Just had a 2 night stay and can't praise it enough. The location is great with excellent views over the bay and easy walking to the town. We ate in the hotel the first night and the meal was better than the meal we had the second night in the best rated restaurant in town. The staff at the hotel... More

The room was great: comfy bed, powerful shower and lovely view of the castle. The breakfast was superb, freshly cooked to order and the staff were helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble: we had to leave early on our departure day and would be too early for breakfast so instead they made us a fantastic packed breakfast to... More

I booked a short break relatively late and chose room 16 at the Caerwylan Hotel based on previous reviews. Although I felt it was pricey for a 3 star hotel, it turned out to be worth every penny. We arrived in a gale and didn't venture out that evening. However, sitting in a large bay window with a 180 degree... More

This was our eight visit to the Caerwylan and yet again it lived upto expectations, it really is a little gem on the North Wales coast and we would highly recommend this hotel by the sea. The rooms are modern and spotlessly clean, the food excellent and all the staff very friendly and helpful. Look forward to our next visit.

This was a last minute trip and I had a bit of dilemma about where to stay. I chose the Caerwylan based on reviews here and I'm very pleased I did! We booked directly via their site and then looked to change our arrival time and book ourselves a table at their residents only restaurant for our one night there.... More

This hotel sells itself as ' The Hotel by The Sea', which it is, but its much more than that. I stayed two nights as a single female traveller and was very impressed by the hotel, its extremely friendly staff and wonderful location. The hotel has wonderful views and Criccieth is a charming little town and has good transport links... More
