We have just spent a very enjoyable five days at the George IV hotel in Criccieth. The rooms were a good size and although a little dated were very comfortable. Only real downside was a small tv which could not be seen when sat on the bed and wanting to watch the Olympics was very uncomfortable on dining type chairs.... More

Our bedroom was situated at the side of the hotel with sea view,it was very clean. The restaurant had an excellent choice on the menu with the food of highest quality. The waiter service was first class. The Hotel is a little old fashioned but retains its charm with its bars and entertainment room. The acts provided for us were top class.

Stayed at the George 1V hotel last week as with a coach party. The room we had was clean and comfortable and although on 3rd floor there was a lift which was brilliant fast and quiet. Food and service in restaurant was very good and overall we had a very enjoyable stay.

We booked this hotel privately for our anniversary, the documentation we received said check in was from 4pm. We arrived at 5.30 after along tiring drive, although the staff were very pleasant we were informed that our evening meal was to served at 6.15. I asked if it could be changed and be a bit more flexible and was told... More

Just back from Alfa week in this hotel, the service was very good, the room was very clean and the bed really comfy, there was not a lot to do as the weather was rather wet, but it was a nice place, We went on trips so that did help .

This is a great little hotel although the decor is dated in some parts our bedroom was directly out of the 80's and the staff are amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and our waitress Bistra had been at the hotel for over 8 years so it must be a good place to work in as well. It is spotlessly... More

Was pleasantly surprised with this hotel, big room on the side of the building so we could keep an eye on our bike. Great shower & plenty of space for our bike kit.Could not fault the food for breakfast & dinner, plenty of choice with lovely waitresses & staff.
