Having been recommended this B&B, I have to say we were somewhat disappointed. Given the glowing reviews, and the price, I had higher expectations. Our welcome was warm and friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable, albeit a little on the small side. However, the shower although very stylish was somewhat inadequate, and the toilet paper of "industrial" quality,... More

Following the reviews read on here from others I had (un)fairly high expectations......especially of the breakfasts. Don't get me wrong it's a decent place but I've stayed in far better at the price we were charged. The room was good with a great view, a bit smaller than I was expecting for a superior room but the bathroom was pretty... More

Booked at the last minute based on feedback from trip advisor. We were more than happy with the friendly service and welcome we received. Our room was to a very high standard. Can't beat it for location to the beach and the local chippy is amazing!

Lovely, clean, well decorated, welcoming. We were given the annexe at the back, a detached little building, very clean, quality bedding, comfy beds. Didn't use the honesty bar in the hotel, but thought it was a great idea. Plenty of choice for breakfast, and we were given a table by the window, as we had no view from our room.... More

Our second family holiday at this wonderful b&b which, really, is more like a hotel. You don't feel as though you are staying in someone's home, Julie's living space is completely separate. It is all exceptionally clean and comfortable. The decor is immaculate and very tasteful. A warm welcome awaits and the hospitality continues throughout your stay. Breakfast is really... More

This is an excellent place. Spotlessly clean everything works and is in good order, Good taste. Perfectly cooked breakfast with a good range of choices. Friendly service - you feel that they care about their guests. Not cheap...but highly recommended

Stayed for two nights recently, On arrival we were offered Coffee and then shown to our excellent room, Plenty of room and a wonderful see view. Although on the main road the noise of the traffic didn't spoil the stay. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Staff excellent and willing to help with where to go and what to see.

Thank you Elaine, for taking the time to comment. I do like to offer information on local areas to visit - often places that you would not find. Most people head for the better advertised attractions, such as Portmeirion and the Welsh Highland Railway - which are beautiful but there are so many places to visit with amazing scenery -... More

I booked the hotel for two nights through its own web-site and received an official confirmation yesterday. Today I received a call from the owner saying that someone else wants to extend their stay by one night, and we can no longer have the booking as the other guest had provisionally said they may require the room.I am unhappy that... I am sorry that you misunderstood. The other booking came in, just before yours did via Eviivo, and therefore I am sorry that I have to honour their booking as that is only fair. This does happen with the booking systems so I would recommend that you telephone. As you know, I called you and then immediately emailed you with... More

Came back to Glyn-y-Coed after visiting last year for Festival No.6. This time we came with our parents. The service was once again very friendly , breakfast excellent and rooms well kept. We had a room on the front of the hotel which was spacious & had views over Criccieth beach & of Criccieth Castle. Make sure you ask Julie... More
