Very nice friendly welcome from proprietor. Room was clean & tidy if a little dated and bathroom was very small. We wondered why we didn't get a sea view as we were the only people staying whilst we were there but that not important as we couldn't see the sea through the rain anyway! Breakfast was very good. Overall hotel... More

Located on the Porthmadog Road, after a 2 hour journey we arrived at our bed and breakfast. The room was not ensuite which we were aware of. Our bathroom was private and down the corridor for our use alone. The room was cosy and tidy. The beds were extremely comfortable. Our room had a lovely view of St Tudwall's Bay... More

Had a 3 night stay and really enjoyed the stay. Owners were really friendly and breakfast was good and set you up well for a day of golf. Would definitely book again. Location was great to get to golf courses. Rooms were cleaned everyday and fresh towels when needed

This hotel desperately needs updating, and decorating. The owners were pleasant enough, but we are always suspicious when asked to pay for the stay in full upon arrival, before even seeing the room. The curtain was half hanging from it's pole, and whilst we were told it would be rectified before we retired, it never was. Criccieth seems pretty dead,... More

Booked, requesting a ground floor room. This is because my disabled wife has problems with stairs. On arrival, we found we had been given a 2nd floor room. No lift. Next up, we asked about the restaurant as mentioned on the TA site. 'Not available at the moment'. Can't say I saw the bar open either. Plenty of good points,... More

Stayed 1 night and the room was well appointed, with tea and coffee. The hotel decor is done by an DIYer rather than professionally, which was OK with a few rough edges. My shower was broken, but was offered another room to use the shower which was of good pressure and temperature control, very important . The breakfast was of... More

Comfy, basic room with everything you need for an overnight stay. Close to the town. Provided gluten free bread at breakfast for toast (asked when booking). Lovely breakfast room and really friendly staff.

Booked 3 nights bnb £285 over Easter weekend. Room 10. Superior double with sea view. We got that deal. Great room. Great breakfast. Brilliant staff, especially Shirley at breakfast and Nick the chatty owner. Very helpful and polite. Very easy to find and free parking. 5mins walk to the village. Bakery, paper shop and local pub all within 100yards of... More

We had a 2 night Murder Mystery weekend with a large group of friends. The hotel is in a wonderful position with magnificent views from the hotel of Cardigan Bay. Walking into town was super easy, only a couple of minutes. Our room was clean and comfy, with a very homely feel. Next time I would book a sea view.... More
