Whilst I appreciate that unforeseen circumstances occur, when someone has had a booking for 4 months and is only 4 weeks away from the stay and therefore plenty of other arrangements have been made, I think some of the onus to offer an alternate accommodation rests with the proprietor. Businesses have insurance to cover issues such as this and if...

We cannot understand why it has taken you some seven plus weeks to write what in our opinion is an extremely negative review, in which you appear to try to discredit our excellent reputation and which is NOT based on a stay with us. In fact it is your interpretation of our handling of a situation which we would have...

We booked this again as we were so impressed with the place the first time we visited a few years ago. The Old Rectory has not changed and is still as good as we remember it which is a feat in itself. Lindsay and Gary still give their guests a warm welcome and are as ever very accommodating. The bed...

Just had the pleasure of staying three nights in the fantastic home of Lindsay and Gary. The house has been beautifully restored to a very high standard, lovely deco and beautifully furnished in all rooms. Everywhere was spotless clean and the minute we walked in and were welcomed by Lindsay we felt very comfortable and relaxed. Our large bedroom overlooked...

We stayed here for 1 night and I wish we could have stayed longer. Our room was nicely decorated and included little complimentary products in the bathroom and nibbles in the room. The owners are very welcoming and the setting is beautiful. We want to go back.

Stayed here for work purposes and it was a stunning place with a wonderful host. The place was elegant and spotless. The whole house including the bedrooms ooze class and at £90 per room it was well worth it. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay I would not hesitate to stay here. There is nothing negative...

All work and no play as they say! so I decided to get away for the bank holiday, escape from work and enjoy some time out in North Wales enjoying my photography, I would normally spend weeks reading, checking and ensuring the right place had been selected and then more often than not it was a disaster. This time I...
