Located mid way between Pwllheli and Morfa Nefyn in a beautifully restored old rectory. Very very comfortable rooms with good selection of teas coffees etc and complimentary sherry and truffles. Breakfasts are excellent and hosts friendly and are tour guides par excellence. Offers baths with attached shower. Latter difficult to manage. Very hot with no thermostatic control and nothing to... This place stands on it's own in its own 3.5 acrers, although it's very old it has been well maintained and looks quite new. Extremely clean, with lovely host who is helpful and friendly. Breakfast is yummy, every one eats on one large table (8 seats) there is a fabulous sitting room for you to enjoy. A must stay if... More

We stayed in the adjoining cottage for a week while our children competed in a sailing Competition in Pwllheli. The cottage is perfect! Clean, roomy with a warm cozy feel. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. A great week, and a perfect place to stay! We booked via an agent who accepted Avios points.

Immaculately presented B&B. Loved our room, and attention to detail included good selection of tea/coffee, fresh milk available daily if required, a tipple of sherry and a chocolate. Bathroom very clean, good selection of towels/toiletries. Our hosts were attentive but not intrusive. Very friendly and helpful, offering directions and leaflets to local tourist attractions/beauty spots/walks. Fantastic breakfast, served in beautiful... More

A taste of luxury - and and eye for every little detail. Also - for us foreigners, a feeling of a grand English home, in an historic setting. We had a wonderful stay and a great 2-nights' sleep in this 5* B&B. Breakfast was very good as well, with fresh croissants and local yummy sausage. The bath was a bit... More

The Old Rectory is a beautiful old house in a lovely area. The hosts attention to detail was second to none from the complimentary sherry & truffles in the bedroom to the superb locally sourced breakfast. Can't fault it.

I cannot recommend the guys highly enough. The house and grounds are beautiful, the owners are welcoming and can't do enough to help. No phone signal? - they'll phone taxis for you. Silly allergies? - they'll get soya milk in for you. No idea what to do in the area? - they'll point you in the direction of some place... More

Just spent the last two nights at the old rectory. Absolutely brilliant place to stay would recommend to anyone. Lovely house and gardens, great rooms and first class breakfast. Gary and Lindsay are very welcoming and the perfect hosts. Can't wait to go back.

Firstly, I'm not surprised this place has a #1 Trip Advisor rating for the area. What a find, a real hidden gem of a place ! The house is Georgian, historic & beautiful, the rooms are elegant, lovely, very comfortable & spacious, they have every amenity, we thought the complimentary sherry & chocs in the room were a lovely touch....
