This is a restaurant review only.....a rather packed and noisy 'greenhouse room' is another person's good atmosphere, so you take your choice. Decent lunch menu, generally sensibly-priced with lite-bite options. Food quality is excellent but underpowered coffee. Pleasant and patient service. Can take couples or groups which were in the majority when we visited; very popular with locals and 'ladies...

We attended Plas Hafod for a special birthday lunch & had also booked an overnight stay. We were certainly not disappointed. The three course lunch was superb, with plenty to choose from off the menu. The hotel was extremely busy but the service was great. Everyone enjoyed their meals. When the lunch ended, we were shown to our room on...

Stayed overnight on Sunday. Excellent place to stay. Very professional and friendly staff. Very good food and local beers. Comfortable room. Will have to return, far enough from home for a night away but not close enough to make it feel local.

On a cold, miserable, grey day, decided to give Plas Hafod a try. We received the warmest of welcomes and had a terrific lunch. The staff were eager to please and they went out of their way to make us comfortable. It almost felt as if we were part of their family. Despite the gloomy, dismal weather we had a...

We've stayed here a few times following a group Christmas 'do'. It's a lovely cosy place to stay, with the rooms all having a different theme. Plumbing needs some attention, as the shower was reluctant to produce a hot gush. Others in our party commented on this too. But not too much of a problem as the hotel is generally...

We booked this hotel for our annual Family Christmas party based on some previous visits here. In total there were 25 of us so quite a large party! Reception was very good and both the food and the Staff were excellent and no complaints from any of our party. Meal portions were generous and staff very attentive. Recommended to all....

Once again 12 of us visited Plas Hafod Hotel for our annual dinner held at Christmas. Sending in the menu choices before the evening is always our habit and the starters and main courses were reallly excellent with members eating a great variety of courses. Whether you plan an intimate dinner for two or a varied group like ours you...

We went to the Plas Hafod for my mums 70th birthday. There was seven of us that went for a meal and I have to say the food and service was fantastic. The staff couldn't do enough for us and made my mum feel special on her birthday. The menu had a good selection and the quality was superb.
