This was an awful place. Sooo outdated, sooo smelly, sooo dirty!! I had to ask receptionist to bring vacuum cleaner. Room full of spider webs, bugs crawling on ceiling, carpet stained everywhere and full of bits. The whole place is disgusting and made me feel itchy all night. The only positive: nice friendly staff and acceptable breakfast. I cut stay...

The hosting was very friendly, I slept like a log and the facilities we acceptable. I will however leave with the overpowering memory of the smell. And yes it was overpowering. On the lower floors it smelt of stale food, and rising up to the rafters; cobwebs and dust. Could do with a very good hover and spray of air...

We were given a warm welcome when we arrived. John even offered to fetch our bags from the car park. The cleanliness was excellent! My husband always sneezes in dirty spaces, he was sneeze free here! We were given fresh towels every day. The bed was amazingly comfortable and big enough for 2 large people. The bath was a good...

In hotels that look a bit dilapidated, they are either old and need refurbishing or have some charm to them. I think this hotel leans more towards the latter so was alright. The balance may change with time though. The breakfast was good and the stay was enjoyable.

We enjoyed our stay here. The decor is a little old fashioned, the reception and lobby could do with a new carpet but the bedroom was very nice. Very clean, tea and coffee and free wifi. The ensuite was very clean with free shower gels.Breakfast was very tasty. Would stay again.

Difficult review, stayed with a pal of mine as we were White Water Paddle Boarding before heading off to the Zip World. twin Room (10) was spacious, TV, Tea / Coffee. Decor very dated and Carpet in bathroom is never good. Beds seemed comfortable but frame squeaked when you moved, so I was woken when my pal turned over, and...

We spent one night in this hotel in our (me and three friends) way to Snowdonia. Dated furniture, old bathroom, a strong smell of dust. The breakfast was for sure not the best I ever had. Is not so cheap so I can't actually recommend it.

Stayed here after attending a wedding in Corwen. Walking in, it looks like a typical Welsh country pub, the carpets and wallpaper were slightly dated, perhaps rustic might be the best word. We were immediately shown up to our rooms. The room itself was large and clean. I enjoyed the breakfast and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Diolch...

Freindly staff and greated as soon as we arrived. Offerd wi-fi and shown to our rooms. Very clean comfy bed. The food was good and the brekfast ( full English ) Ok the some parts may need a spring clean, but no problems at at. Parking was very easy and on the whole I can not fault the stay.
