Visited here in January for our company awards evening and celebrating my husband's 30th. The service was exceptional and the we had the entire place to ourselves. The owner was wonderful greeting us weary hikers on arrival with great service showing us to our rooms. Nothing was too much trouble and the rooms were beautifully finished, some very spacious, others...

Friendly and warm place to stay. Beautiful old building with renovated rooms. Helpful staff who know the area. Really great food - fresh fish, Welsh lamb, good vegetarian options and other local specialties. Genuinely Welsh hotel with a real heritage feel. Felt really welcome after a long trip to get there. Would definitely recommend if you want a genuinely unique...

I've been visiting this beautiful part of the world for years and have often had a meal at The Bryn Tyrch, however this is the first time I have stayed there. Rachel and her staff really do go that extra mile to ensure that you have a pleasant stay. I had booked a twin bedded room for my friend and...

We are staying 20 minutes from this restaurant and it was recommended to us. We initially checked trip advisor, and then the online menu for the venue, which was described as "a bar menu and an evening menu". We decided upon a couple of dishes (steak and sea bass) but unfortunately when we got here we were presented with a...

Always excellent. This time though an accidental mishap through no fault of the host was rectified beyond our expectations. Lovely hostess, excellent service in a stunning location. Could not recommend more.

Bryn Tyrch is a beautifully-renovated and extended inn on the edge of Capel Curig in the heart of Snowdonia. The rooms are very smart, the public areas are warm and welcoming, and the cuisine is excellent. Our evening meals cost us just over £30 per head, including beers/wine, which is good value for the quality. The hotel is on the...

Just returned from our first stay at Bryn Tyrch but had eaten here on previous holidays. Lovely superior room. Good sized en suite. Staff friendly and attentive but food is really great. Good base to climb the local mountains and Snowdon Sherpa bus stops right outside front door so don't have to fight for parking on the mountain. We will...

I booked the Bryn Tyrch Inn for three nights, wanted a bit of luxury, my brother wanted to be nearer Snowdon and stayed at the youth hostel at Pen y pass. Lovel double room with all I needed, very comfortable, with a lovely bar and restaurant. Amazing breakfast that set me up for each day. Friendly efficient staff and lovely...

Stayed here for 2 nights last weekend - very friendly staff, comfortable rooms with all mod cons. Lovely bar/restaurant areas, food was really high quality and delicious. The Inn is situated opposite a bus stop to take you to start of Snowdon summit and has fabulous views all around. We thought it was very reasonably priced too..

A last minute booking found us in a pleasant room in the hotel. There was a major hitch on arrival as I had arranged for the hotel to supply us with a cot. This was confirmed over the phone whilst booking. Alas, on arrival the staff reckoned i had agreed to bring my own and I was quick to deny...
