Four of us stayed here whilst visiting the Royal Welsh Show. Exceptionally high standard of accommodation and food, topped by warm and friendly reception. Good parking and hotel situated in a pleasant welcoming town. We are all looking forward to revisiting. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

All you could wish for in a boutique b&b. Lovely afternoon tea on arrival, extremely comfortable and attractive room. We were there for a party locally as were all the other guests that night so Sylvia booked us all a cab, we enjoyed a drink from the honesty bar before we left and when we returned. It was like staying... More

Second time we've been lucky enough to enjoy the wonderful hospitality of Dave and the lovely Diane. One of the most friendly and relaxed places we've stayed - beautifully designed and with locally sourced food that is out of this world (try the chorizo and prawns..). Great walking in the Brecons right on the doorstep, and then settling down in... More

This is one of the best hotels/inns I have ever stayed in. The hosts were fun and engaging, the food (lunch and dinner) was scrumptious, and the accommodations were fabulous (clean, roomy, comfortable). I especially liked the honesty bar in the lounge. I would recommend it to one and all, friend and foe.

My partner booked one night at this little gem of a hotel. The place is pretty, quirky, friendly and full of character. The surrounding area isn't great (with a used tyre business right behind the property) but nonetheless, it does not impact of the beauty that is inside. The tea and coffee on arrival was great and meant we relaxed,... More

A really warm welcome from the hosts and a wonderful evening meal in the cozy dining room. Breakfast was of an equally high standard with plenty of choice. The room was of a good size with a very comfortable bed, lovely toiletries, and nice shower. Good fast wi-if connection.

It is difficult to review this place as it is something of a contradiction. Its location is not great - an end terrace building with commercial premises behind. It has its own small car park which, when full, involves blocking in at least one other car. We had the smallest room which was, frankly, small. We knocked things off the... More

We had a lovely stay at the New White Lion which is ideally situated for exploring the Brecon Beacons. We stayed in The Vicar Prichard room which was very comfortable, we enjoyed the flapjacks! Dinner and breakfast were both superb and there was an especially good selection of gins at the honesty bar! Many thanks to the very hospitable hosts... More

This is a little gem of a place for exploring the Brecon Beacons, under the management of Dave and Diane, who are excellent, informal hosts ably assisted by Agita's ever present smile front of house. The rooms are excellent, with nice touches like the excellent flapjack bars to nibble in the room through to the honesty based bar and the... More

After a hard days walking & a long drive to Llandovery we received a lovely warm welcome & coffee/tea & biscuits in the lounge - much appreciated. Room was lovely, full of character & very clean & comfortable. We didn't realise they offered a dinner option, but we had eaten earlier so didn't take advantage of this (but the menu... More
