Stayed here for the weekend for work at the convention center next door. Loved the facility and amenities specially the gym which was well equipped for a hotel gym so no complaints there. Housekeeping could add more towels though, it felt like we were rationing the large towels.

This is another of my favorite hotels in Memphis. It's staff is very professional and the rooms and service is extremely good. One can cross the street and be at the convention center or a short walk to the Bass pro shop or St Jude's children's hospital. The trolly stops in

We were here for two nights and had a great stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was lovely on the twelfth floor and we had a great view of Memphis. We saw the sun come up over the city both mornings which was lovely. The breakfast was really tasty too.

I advise visitors to steer clear of staying near Graceland because the neighborhood is not very safe and the food choices limited. The Peabody is almost always a safe bet downtown and you need to witness the famous Duck Walk while here. The Westin, Springhill Suites, and Double Tree are solid second choices depending on your budget. As noted previously, use Uber to get around as it is more reliable and less expensive. Beale Street is fun for the bars and music, but you'll find far better Southern food at Locals Gastropub on Main, Felicia Suzanne's, Sweet Grass, and Acre - the latter two can be spendy but are well worth it. Rendezvous is the easiest to access BBQ joint when downtown, but the quality can be inconsistent. If you want to try the real deal, head to Central BBQ. A visit to the Bass Pro Shop in the Pyramid will introduce you to America's Outdoor culture and worth an hour. Be sure to visit Sun Records and other Elvis places of note while in town.
