All the employees were very nice and helpful, and we got a lot of good advice on things to do while in Memphis. We didn't have enough time to do many of them, so we're coming back in the fall. We enjoyed our time in Memphis that much. We picked this hotel because of it's convenience to the airport and shuttle service. The room was very nice, and clean. The property was attractive and well maintained, but the big thing for us was the breakfast. Instead of the normal hotel breakfast buffet in warming trays, you ordered items off a menu at their restaurant - and the 2 ladies working the restaurant were the best. Super friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back to this hotel again.

I stay at Marriott hotels every week. I must say the Bistro at this hotel is the best I have seen. The first day I ordered my coffee once and Etta had it ready for me every day after that. Also the entire staff addressed me by name from the moment I walked in the door. If you want a great hotel in Memphis, stay here. You will not be dissapointed.

Checking in on Friday afternoon with Amanda was smooth and we found our room #110 to be quite satisfactory upon arrival. Maintenance manager greeted us in the hallway and was quite sincere in his welcome and offered to correct anything we may find out of order. Our overnight was fine, but we set and wanted to cool the rooms to about 68 degrees, but could never get it lower than 70. On Saturday morning, we posted the do not disturb on door so we could grab breakfast in lobby. We returned to the room to grab things for our 10:30am Graceland tour and left the room at about 9:45am, returning the Do Not Disturb sign to the inside of the door at that time. My wife spoke with a nearby housekeeper when we left to state that we were out of the room and it could be cleaned. The housekeeper acknowledged her and stated it would be done. We returned to the room at about 2pm, the room was not cleaned. We spoke with a housekeeper in the next room and she told us that the housekeeper for our room went home for the day. She radioed a supervisor and was told it could not be cleaned today. We went to the front desk and spoke with Amanda. Amanda confirmed that the room could not be cleaned and offered 1500 points. We stated that this was unacceptable to us and needed the room to be cleaned. I asked for the manager and she stated she was the manager on duty. About that time, the housekeeping manager walked up and in front of us, told Amanda that the Do Not Disturb sign was on the door all day. This was NOT TRUE. My wife blurted out “That is BS”, which offended Amanda and I apologize for that. Amanda then restated that the room could not be cleaned and offered breakfast in addition to 1500 points. I stated that this compensation was unacceptable and we still wanted our room cleaned. I closed our conversation with telling Amanda that the housekeeping managers untrue statement, about the Do Not Disturb sign being posted all day, personally offended me. Someone was lying. We were leaving for dinner at about 3pm and planned to return early evening. Thankfully, when we returned after dinner, the room was cleaned. While the room was very nice, we found a couple things that should be brought to your attention: -The tub floor is quite slippery and the grab bar is not convenient. -Found the base of the toilet stained with what appears to be urine (picture attached). -Found and killed a centipede on the bathroom floor (picture attached). -Loud guests woke me up at about 12:30am Sunday morning in the weight room next door to our bed, with weights being dropped and loud talking and laughing. Fortunately, it did not last long. Another comment is that I enjoy my coffee and always look for a cup of coffee in the lobby of hotels I frequent. While having a Starbucks in the lobby, I was required to pay for coffee. Not happy with that. However, The Starbucks staff, service and food was extraordinary! Especially want to recognize and shout out for Cadedra who brightened our experience with her effervescent personality!

My husband and I spent 1 night here before flying out of Memphis. The staff we encountered were friendly and professional. Our room was clean, bed comfortable and the parking was in secured location. We didn't use the pool or other amenities but the pool area looked nice and clean. Location is great for getting to the airport and the hotel does offer 24 hour shuttle service to the airport.

The staff is friendly but that’s about it. This place is dirty and requires a major makeover. The furniture in bistro and in my room had stains. The hallways are dark and the carpet looks dirty. I’m definitely not coming back. This is the first Courtyard that I have stayed at that was in desperate need of a facelift.
