i was really surprised when I opened the door. the sitting room and bedroom room are separated by French doors. Very spacious but cozy. We loved it. I do believe the towel service could have been more accommodating. The bar staff, Marci especially was friendly and I enjoyed being there during the day. I do believe the night service may... More

This was my second stay at the Madison and I was not as pleased with this stay. The hotel is still very quiet and convenient to downtown Memphis and the staff are still very nice and thoughtful (especially Ms. Eva), but the hotel was completely full and the valet staff were chronically overwhelmed. I waited over 30 minutes on one... More

This hotel is centrally located yet still out of the way of most of the main tourist attractions of Memphis. Downtown Memphis is definitely fairly depressed especially sense the trolley is not running at all. we were here for two nights mid week in the spring and the downtown area was dead even during working hours. The Madison Hotel lobby... More

I am so glad that you were pleased with the Staff as it appears we dropped the ball in several other areas. I will meet with Hskp regarding the room conditions, Engineering regarding the broken equipment and of course, the front office team regarding the room moves. The pool is being currently being addressed - I am sorry that we... More

This is a boutique hotel in the heart of Memphis, within walking distance to Beale St. I spent two nights at the Madison Hotel and will definitely stay when I return to Memphis. The staff at this property are exceptional. Everyone I encountered was very polite and helpful. The rooms are junior suites with a sitting and working area separate... More

We paid too much money to stay here as it isn't worth it. Small room, small uncomfortable bed with no bedside cabinet and extremely dated. It isn't clean and insects are crawling around, just killed one on the bed. Inside the fridge is just so disgusting. Supplies don't get replenished daily. No clock in the room and the blinds let... My wife and I spent the weekend at the Madison Hotel for our first trip to Memphis. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The hotel was very clean, run efficiently and within walking distance to many restaurants, attractions and shops. Paul in Eighty 3, Ashley at the front desk and Ms. Eva provided us with great tips for sightseeing.

This hotel is way overpriced for room only. The room is small, very dated and dirty. The single glazed windows are falling apart. Nothing gets replaced unless you phone down. No toilet rolls, toiletries or water. Room service came knocking in the middle of the night , then said oh wrong room. Surely they know where they are going? Housekeeping... More

Not a big reviewer type of dude but I had to say something about this place. Some buddies and I from all over met up in Memphis for a fun weekend. We liked our rooms and the service was pretty good. Stayed three nights to go to Graceland etc. This hotel has it's good and bad points. Staff were generally very good apart from the chef in their restaurant.
