A nice new (6 months old) hotel from holiday inn brand. Great look and some nice features ( jukebox in reception, VVG fitness center) very convenient location close to everything downtown. Easy parking $20/ night. Brekkie next door not included. The room was nice , good king size bed , nice shower and looked thicker a good pool( we didn’t try it) . Around $150/ nt . We like it you will too

I stayed at the Hotel Indigo in Savannah, Georgia and had a great experience, so for my trip to Memphis, I thought I would give this hotel a shot. Very much worth it. I really liked the wood accents in the rooms and the lobby. The jukebox is a nice touch. Great fitness center as well. Very friendly service throughout. Highly recommended!

Stayed one night on the way to Nashville, using IHG reward points. This is our first stay at Hotel Indigo and we stayed comfortably. The retro style deco was fun and cute. The room was a decent size and clean but the shower was a bit narrow once you close the glass door. The outdoor pool was on the 8th floor and the pool side area was big. We lounged around poolside after dinner and it was very relaxing. Many families and groups were enjoying their evening in the pool and the poolside area playing some outdoor games (Cornhole Toss Game and Big Jenga.) We didn’t get in the pool but played the games and it was fun! The self-parking garage that connects to the hotel lobby was very convenient, the front desk staff were kind and polite, and it was at great location. Only thing we didn’t approve was that they were stingy on amenities (coffee); there was only one k-cup coffee. They stocked varieties of k-cups but I think that most guests would use coffee more than anything else in morning; especially they knew there are two guests staying in the room….. But overall it was a really great hotel and we enjoyed staying there!

First impression is that this is a very cute hotel that strives to capture Memphis' charm. Unfortunately, they forgot about functionality in the midst of being cute. For example, the sliding door to the bathroom is smaller than the opening for the door. It not only leaves a gap between the door and the wall, but doesn't completely cover the bathroom. They forgot to put a soap holder in the shower. TV is mounted on the wall in a location which makes it hard to see from one side of the bed. The room came with only 2 towels and insufficient coffee supplies. When we called to ask for more, it took over 30 minutes for them to be delivered. This is not a big hotel. The beds are HORRIBLE. I ended up sleeping on the floor because my back was in such pain from how deep I sank into the bed. Which leads to the main reason for my low rating: at 2:30am, I went to the lobby to see if there were any options for a better sleeping situation. The woman at the desk said all the beds were the same & there was nothing she could do. With increased volume and aggression, she continued to restate this anytime I asked for some sort of workable solution. She suggested I check out of the hotel and find a different hotel. I started asking for 3-4 sets of blankets so I could create a makeshift "bed" and sleep on the floor. She finally relented and called someone to help with this, but by this time was yelling at me. The person she called was unable to access the linen closet, told me to "stand by" then came back 5 minutes later with a key to another room, where he said that I could take blankets off that bed. Needless to say, I did not sleep that night. The next morning, I went to the daytime manager to request a refund and cancellation of my final 2 nights. He declined, saying he heard about the incident from the woman at the front desk that I was acting aggressively towards her and cursing at her. Since I declined the option to check out at 2:30am, he refused to issue a refund or let me out of the last 2 nights.

Second visit to this hotel. Fitness center is best of hotels I've stayed at in Memphis. Had several meals in the restaurant and all were excellent, great addition. Recommend the Beastloaf. Didnt get to use the pool, but will bring the kids back for that
