I attempted to get assistance from hotel staff prior to my stay for an invoice, and never received a response. I sent an email to TWO managers, one phone call, and filed a complaint with IHG Customer Care. Doesn't matter. Never got a response. None of the staff ever smiled, or acted like they even cared to be there. Room...

This is a much cheaper downtown option to the Peabody, which is directly across the street. The room was very comfortable and quite large. It is in walking distance to Beale St. and the Rendezvous barbecue, and very close to the Civil Rights Museum and Central Barbecue.

I stayed at this particular hotel for a conference in Memphis. The hotel was nice in general, but I do believe the staff can be more friendly and the rooms can be updated. I also had a family of small spiders living in the shower at the top. Other than these things, the hotel does have great location and is...

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Select Downtown. As we drove in, we were greeted with the smile and acceptance as you have come to expect. The southern hospitality was evident, particularly when we entered our room and there was a welcoming note from the GM, along with a Prayer card. Made it feel special and genuine, whether...

Location was great. About a 5 minute walk to Beale Street. Next door to the minor league baseball stadium and across the street from The Peabody. Room was clean and beds were comfy. Parking is $24 or we parked right next door in the parking garage for $10. We did not eat at the restaurant or the bar. Will definitely...

We had a great time staying in Downtown Memphis. This hotel is a quick walk to Beale St, some construction on the walk but no safety issues- just typical downtown stuff. It's a bit noisy- we could hear the drunken conversations of folks on the street. We were on the 12th floor so they were speaking pretty loud. We had...

A neat, clean, well located, straight to the point, lodge. Bare essentials. No frills. Warm and helpful crew. The only point missing was a frigobar 😊but one can live without it. You will be three blocks from Beale Street, close enough to the action to will to it, but far enough not to worry with noise and stress.

Visited for a business conference. This is a very old feeling hotel. The lobby is like a broom closet with a desk. Room was functional. Conference room upstairs very hot with mediocre ventilation. Room decent. Location good. Homeless folks are numerous and aggressive. Hard to go for a run in the morning without being approached even. Food adequate. This is...

Across the street from The Peabody, giving access to all of the associated advantages. At a fraction of the price. If you ignore the clueless millennial with the contract valet service eveyone is wonderful. One of the best dry rib restaurants in the country is in the same block, Charlie Vergos Rendezvous. Beale Street is just a short walk. Additionally...

We were in town from New Jersey to see the NCAA Sweet Sixteen games and needed a close location that was walkable to the FED-X Arena. This hotel met those requirements and was across the street from the famous Peabody Hotel, that features the ducks. The front desk staff that we were helped by (Octavia and Trena) were fabulous when...
