I just stopped in there on a Sunday evening while I was downtown walking around. All I wanted was a cocktail in their beautiful lobby bar area. I sat down and about five minutes later was greeted by a server however that was the last I saw of her. As I looked around I noticed that the staff liked to hover at the bar and chat. After about 10 minutes I just gave up getting a drink and left. As I was passing the bar I noticed the server and the bartender hanging out. The server realized that she had basically forgotten me but I just shook my head and kept going. I would have expected better from a hotel with this reputation. Definitely slackers.

Such a beautiful hotel. A must see in Memphis. The double bed room was lovely. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. It was a memorable time for my adult daughter and I. The duck march was adorable! Hotel staff are top notch!

The Peabody Hotel has maintained its distinction throughout the decades. I am impressed with the fact this property is offering quality room service during the pandemic 2020. I would recommend one thing for the hotel: upgrading the rooms to help block outside noise.

We live in the Memphis area and had never had reason to stay at the Peabody so when I had a late night dinner and a breakfast meeting the next day scheduled there, we grabbed the opportunity to stay overnight. So glad we did. The Peabody is a Memphis gem and I am thrilled I finally got to experience it.

I had always wanted to stay here, and I wasn’t disappointed. Room was beautiful and clean, amenities were delightful, all staff were friendly and courteous. I booked last minute and got a room immediately off the elevator, so it was a little noisy at times, but wouldn’t hesitate to recommend in every other respect and will likely just plan ahead in the future to request a hallway room.
