Great history in the lap of luxury. The room was magnificent and comfortable with one of the most comfortable beds I have experienced. In room dining was perfect and well handled during these times of COVID.
The Peabody is a very charming hotel with a great location and an excellent staff. I had a wonderful trip despite the fact that Memphis downtown currently looks like a ghost town. The hotel itself has a nice choice of restaurants and shops.
We had a memorable trip to the Peabody and was so special for my 4 year old daughter. The staff bent over backwards to make it magical for her and easy for me. They were welcoming, accommodating, and the service all around was wonderful. Breakfast at Chez Phillipe was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable with many different pillow options to choose from, and the room was updated and very clean. All amenities met and exceeded expectations for a popular hotel which could easily fall be the wayside due to its high traffic environment but it wasn’t. There were also great social distancing and other Covid precautions which made me more at ease during my stay.
This was the perfect place for our first night away in a couple years! Thanks peabody! The executive King was the perfect size and amenity level too, with a couch and sitting area. In-room breakfast was amazing too.
Wanted the trip to be special due to it being our anniversary, but it was just okay. We were only able to afford a traditional room, but I don’t think it was worth over $250/night not counting the $20 a day for self parking (not valet). Seeing the ducks was cute (only for hotel guests right now), but it was over in 15 seconds (for the ducks to go from the fountain to the elevator) after the story presented by the duckmaster. He was entertaining, but it was crowded (which made me nervous due to COVID) in the lobby. Thankfully everyone wore masks. Downtown Memphis was great, but feel our money could have been better spent on different accommodations. The Peabody is a nice hotel, but I think you need to pay a lot to really benefit from it. I guess we just aren’t that type of clientele. …
