First there was a child running the front desk. They gave us a room on the second floor. There were no elevators. Me, my elderly parents, and my child had to drag our stuff up the two flights of stairs. When we got to the room, the key didn't work. Then someone opened the door. Looks like they lived there... Not a great experience here. First the booking agent at Choice Hotels lied to me when I asked 3 times if this hotel was downtown Memphis. It is not! After we started deplaning people around us were telling us that we were staying in a really bad part of town. Out taxi driver even recommended we stay in our room.... More

The bad thing about booking a room over the internet is that the motel (naturally) puts great photos on line. On the outside, it looks great and the lobby was very nice. However, the rooms were a different matter. The toilet seat was loose in the bathroom, which made it difficult for my 94-year-old mother to get up. The furniture... More

We have never written one of these reviews before but we feel we must warn other people about this place. It was dirty, internet was laughably slow or nonexistent, had to ask for shampoo and towels, the so called breakfast was basic to be charitable and we, God forbid, stayed two nights and we had to demand the room be... Booked an overnight room for a college visit. Room smelled. Hotel smelled. Bedsheets were dirty. Even the clean towels were dirty. We never showered. Just hightailed it out in the am. I would never Reccomend this hotel. In middle of night there was noises coming from room above us. So slept poorly.

One of the nastiest hotels ever! We were charged extra because we checked in early and had to request another room. Toilet barely flushed, bathroom and tub dirty and stains all over the curtains. The 2nd room was not much better, only stayed because we were tired after a 6 hour drive and I didn't foot the bill. Tomorrow I... More

Advertised renovated but not true only out side. Said there is a business center no there isn't. High speed Internet, slow and it keeps kicking me off every 20 min. Oh and breakfast discussing, dirty and messy.

I am late on this review, but I was checking in to write another and realized I needed to write it. Very sketchy clientel, saw a condom in the parking lot (Ill leave it at that), horrible service, noise until 4 AM including people screaming and arguing outside our window in parking lot. Repeated calls to front desk, and they... More
