Walked in on a miserable wet saturday from kinlochhourn . Received a wonderful warm welcome from Bob and Morag . Bob picked me up on the road in the "knoydart taxi" . Very relaxed and friendly atmosphere throughout my stay with lots of tips and anecdotes of where to go and what to see . Ate in the pub on...

Stayed here for 1 night and was met at pier by Rob (owner) who drove us the 1/2 mile to the Lodge. He was exceptionally helpful and friendly. We had a twin room which was very comfortable and the breakfast was terrific. They welcomed us at 11 am and our room was waiting for us which was unusual for a...

We just managed to get a room in the Lodge and we were delighted with it. Morag and family made us very welcome from the time we were collected from the ferry until the time we left Bob at Mallaig. Our room was very clean and the bathroom was a "wet room" which did mean that everything got a bit...

Had a wonderful three nights here with Bob and Morag, the most genial hosts on the west coast of Scotland. They make you feel so relaxed and nothing is ever too much for them. The lodge itself is a beautiful space with a big open plan dining area and lounge where guests can mingle. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean...

The lodge is situated on the remote peninsula of Knoydart, only accessible by boat or 2 day hike. The hosts were really helpful and knowledgeable of the area. The room was expansive and very clean with a sliding door to the outside patio and view of the loch. The breakfast was by far, the best we've had in a long...

Knoydart is known as one the most remote places in Scotland. The welcome at The Knoydart Lodge, made the trip worth it! Lovely location, sea view, few minutes to the beach, large spacious, clean and modern rooms. And a fabulous breakfast.

This place is an absolute haven. My friend and I had waked around the Knoydart peninsula for 5 days before walking into Inverie and bumping into Morag (a wonderful hostess). At Knoydart Lodge we were made to feel welcome and were served one of the best Scottish breakfasts I've ever had (one of the choices from an extensive menu) it's...

Stayed with ,y husband and a friend in autumn after a somewhat poorly judged time wise walk over the hills to get here. These guys were absolutely great. As well as being a beautiful and well thought out place to stay, the owners are incredibly hospitable and welcoming. Probably the most well looked after I have ever been! Would happily...

Emilie and I married in Knoydart on Monday 19 November, with the considerable help of Morag, Bob and Evelyn. We had more than 50 guests from around Europe, and they provided accommodation for guests, taxis, breakfasts for 20+ people, boats, BBQ venue, introduced us to Kristy our amazing chef, found us a ceilidgh band (and what a band it was,...

Knoydart is a very special place. It is a haven of simple peace, wild and rugged land, friendly locals and a reminder of how beautiful our country is. Knoydart Lodge is a lovely home and as guests you feel welcome, relaxed and able to embrace the essence of this remote location. The owners are well informed on walks, boat trips,...
