We have been coming here for many years now, both as guests & to have lunch or coffee. It is a lovely building with beautiful grounds to wander around. The staff are lovely and we always make a point of visiting when in the area. There are two beautiful lounges with plenty of reading material & it is so relaxing... More

A lovely, retro hotel in a Victorian castle, in a stunning location overlooking the Loch. It's worth getting up early and taking a walk in the grounds as the air is so fresh and pine-scented. Efficient and unobtrusive staff, generously sized rooms, and a comfortable restaurant serving tasty meals. Perfect get-away!

We stopped over on a whim for coffee. We ended up having tea and scones. The best!!! Wonderful service, reasonably priced, a gorgeous venue. If I am every in the area again, I will stay at this great place.

We stayed here in September whilst visiting the Isle of Skye, we stayed one night arriving around 4.30. We enjoyed lovely relaxing drinks and shortbread in the library, really had time to unwind. Our room was very pleasant maybe just needs better pillows, they were very flat and hard. Spotlessly clean and extremely helpful and friendly staff. Reception and waiting... More

My wife and I loved this castle-hotel. We stayed here in July. Strangely this hotel was/is rated between 3-4 stars but I give it 5 (experience is subjective :)). Anyhow here's my notes... Pros: 1. Location...it's located by the lake with the beautiful mountain backdrop. It's like a picture on a canvas. 2. Service...we were late when we got here.... More

This is an old manor house converted into a hotel with charming rooms that look out onto the Highlands. It is next to a beautiful lake and is very peaceful and quiet. Dinner and breakfast were excellent.

Great service and lovely surroundings to the hotel, located in a beautiful manor with some castle ruins in their lands. Plenty of small trekking paths and a pier by the waterside to stroll and explore before dinner or breakfast.

We had a lovely bedroom in the corner of the Hotel. I think it was 11. It had a four poster, decent size TV and two windows providing lovely views over the Loch and fields. The bathroom was amazing with both a good sized shower and bath which suited us both. The hotel itself is cosy and decorated to a... More
