We stayed in 2 rooms over two days as we toured Isle of Skye and Eilean Donan castle. The rooms were ample size and very clean, the beds comfortable and the views were magnificent. We enjoyed two dinners in the dining room and the selection and preparation of the meals was very good. Very hospitable staff and very friendly.

A lovely, luxury type place to stay. We enjoyed our one night here with the kids, 11 and 9. The grounds are fun to explore. You can rent rowboats or bring your own fishing gear to drop a line in the loch.

We stayed two nights and our family of three had two rooms. Upon arrival the front desk was very welcoming. We ordered tea and scones and had it in the library looking out over the grounds. We also had dinner the first night at the hotel and it was very good. 2 of us had steak and it was cooked... More

Fantastic secluded location, great base for exploring the highlands, this is a majestic building with oodles of character walk through the lovely gardens down to Loch Oich and ponder life. The original ruined castle still stands in the grounds and should be seen.

We stayed here one night last week and wished we had reserved more time at this establishment. The staff were welcoming, the rooms were large, quiet and comfortable, and the food and service were quite good. The loch-side location and castle ruins on the premises are interesting to explore during your stay. I would highly recommend this hotel if you're... More

We were thrilled with this place, in part because the last room left was an expensive Deluxe room--very special. It's family run by gracious hosts. Public rooms were lovely. Dining at the hotel was good enough, though not outstanding, but dinners were fair value and liquor was reasonable. The hotel is quiet and isolated from the highway. Views were lovely... More

Stayed 1 night in the Glengarry Castle Hotel and it was beautiful. Room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Very clean and very well organized. We enjoyed exploring the grounds even in the rain. Dinner was a special formal type affair (not everyone dressed accordingly and that was okay) - served 4 courses in a lovely traditional dining room setting. Service... More

A nice small hotel that lists itself as a castle hotel but more of a country house really. It has a nice atmosphere to it with large and comfortable sitting rooms. The decor is consistent with its age. The check in process was simple and straightforward and welcoming. We had room 18 with a fabulous view of Loch Oich and... More

This hotel is situated just outside the village of Invergarry, on the banks of Loch Oich. It's appearance is straight out of Walter Scott or Robert Louis Stevenson, grey stone walls, a wood panelled hall with a large stone fireplace, a tartan carpet in the entrance hall and so on. It must be every tourists idea of what a Scottish... More

We stayed at the Glengarry only for a night, but I wish we could have stayed more. We had a light lunch when we first arrived, everything came out in these cute trays and we enjoyed our lunch with a wonderful view of the Loch. The front desk was very accommodating, even taking our small bundle of laundry and having... More
