We popped into the Lodge after a short drive around to admire the snowy mountains. Had a pot of coffee and a couple of warm fruit scones with jam and whipping cream. Delicious, fair price too. The Lodge itself is a perfect example of a country hunting lodge, gorgeous surroundings, comfy and quiet out of season.

This hotel is situated on the outskirts of the small village of Achnasheen and is surrounded by beautiful scenery. I cannot comment on the bedrooms in the hotel as we just stopped for lunch. The reception area is magnificent, with a roaring log fire and sweeping stair case. It is so homely and the staff were exceptionally friendly. The food...

Had the most wonderful visit at this beautiful hotel. We got the train up as the line is one of the the best for scenery in the UK. Certainly worth doing for the views. 10 min walk to hotel but owner kindly offered to pick us up. On arrival greeted with a beautiful old building, decorated exactly as you would...

After a long days drive in the Highlands, we were pleased to arrive for our overnight stay at the Ledgowan Lodge Hotel. Each room was well appointed, comfortable and roomy. Modern bathrooms as well. We were comfortable and slept well. Luckily we arrived in time to eat at the bar before the kitchen closed and everyone was happy with their...

This place has had a couple of dodgy reviews recently and my wife and I were unsure about staying here - but we had booked and still decided to go. It is not cheap, but there again there is nowhere else near, they are in the middle of no where and I do not believe that their running costs will...

The hotel, a former shooting lodge, oozes charm and character and the staff are friendly and helpful. There are some downsides. Internet is only available in the lobby. The hotel dining room is quite grand, but the food lackluster. For example, "lamb loin served pink" proved to be six tiny pieces of dry, grey meat. On the plus side, they...

I found a voucher deal and really wanted to visit the Scottish Highlands. The lodge was absolutely beautiful and classic, with nice touches. I stayed in room 108, which was huge, with big bed, beautiful modern bath and shower, I was given champagne as part of my package. The food is delicious, it was restaurant quality, as well as having...

Popped in on our way to Lochcarran for morning coffee which was delicious! Lovely warm scones served with cream and jam and a cafetiere of hot tasty coffee served by friendly staff. Would definitely call again.
