Stayed at Brora Lodge for three nights in the small town of Wigtown with my 91 year old father. Nice quiet part of town, although I guess no real noisy parts of this quaint little south west of Scotland town ? Got a great welcome and immediately felt comfortable. Rooms and lounge, quiet and comfortable and immaculately clean. I was... More

I stayed in brora b&b for 4 weeks during a placement in Wigtown. During my stay I had no issues at all and was well looked after. Every day my room would be freshened up and sweets/biscuits left out. The breakfasts were very tasty and there is a good range of choices. The coffee is strong and tasty and I... More

Brora Lodge is a longtime favoutite of the Happytraveller030 clan. We love the friendly atmosphere, the nothing-is-too-much-trouble approach of hosts Peter and Helen, the high standards of room preparation, and Peter's brilliant breakfasts. If this sounds glowing it's because there's nowhere better in Wigtown - and we've seen a few before we found Brora Lodge!
