My husband and I stayed in the Lighthouse Suite which was about a 1 minute walk from the main hotel. The views we got from here were spectacular. The dinner at night was lovely with 5 courses included and a great selection to choose from. Breakfast in the morning too was lovely. Staff all friendly. Would definately recommend this place...

Very quirky small hotel with very friendly staff and lovely food. Pretty surrounding countryside, although quite desolate in February which is only to be expected. The first night we were there we were the only guests staying in the lighthouse part of the hotel as there are also suites outside in the grounds. I was surprised and somewhat uncomfortable when...

Spent a very special overnight stay in this unique lighthouse hotel. All the rooms are different - we were fortunate to have one with one window facing the sea and the other back inland - so we saw both a magnificent sunset and then a wonderful sunrise. The lighthouse still functions, so that at night you will see its searching...

My partner and I enjoyed a cold January evening in this hotel. The decor and lay out of the place was lovely and cosy. How ever we chose to dine in the restraunt that claims to have 2 rosettes? As a head chef myself I'm never critical Abt simple food provided it's executed well. There seemed to be 2 chefs...

We were (as often happens) on the lookout for somewhere to eat lunch in the middle of nowhere. As we drove down yet another little lane, losing hope of eating until later we suddenly came upon a sign saying 'hotel open for to non-residents for lunch and dinner". Unfortunately when we arrived the chef had just finished shutting up the...

popped in on a very windy day recently, hotel was very quiet, but friendly young lady advised coffee was available in lounge. she suggested we try the shortbread which proved to be amazing, we all agreed that it was the best we had ever tasted. the lighthouse is well of the beaten track, but the views justify the bumpy track.

Stayed in a beautiful, warm holiday cottage on the peninsula next to Loch Ryan near Stranraer and decided, on the day after Boxing Day to walk the 5 miles to the Corsewall Lighthouse Hotel for lunch. Our friends went by car about an hour ahead of us. It was a lovely day and we were pleased to see from a...

Visited this magical place for our anniversary (had a wedding reception here too) and it is still as always, simply beautiful! Venue is extraordinary and as usual we've stayed in Mull of Kintore room. The hotel is spotless and very well kept. Staff is extremely pleasant and professional. Had a lovely walk around the grounds with stunning sea views. Dinner...

We have just spent 3 nights in the Lighthouse Suite. It was beautiful. The views are stunning and the suite was very comfortable. The food was amazing in the small quaint restaurant. Staff were very helpful at all times. The road to the lighthouse is only a single track and bumpy but that would not put us off going back....

My husband and I recently happened upon this gorgeous and very special spot. What a delightful surprise! Absolutely gorgeous location with homey, clean and comfortable accommodation, friendly and professional staff and delicious food! Everything about our visit was perfect. The price was very reasonable and they accepted our little dog. I can't wait to go back!
