Lovely friendly owners( though as there is no reception area they are a little hard to find on check in and check out !) Really good breakfast with a choice of different cereals, yogurts and fruit laid out then cooked breakfast to order as well as tea coffee and juice. The family room we stayed in was lovely and clean,... More

I had a two night stay at this hotel for a business trip. I arrived at the hotel and was greeted by Fiona who showed me to my room. She explained a little bit about the facilities withing the hotel (Wifi etc) and then told me where the best places were to eat in the town which was very helpful.... More

We booked a twin (for 2) and a double (for 1) for an overnight stay in Stranraer before the ferry trip to Ireland. The hotel is on the front, facing a nice park and the bay. Parking is either on the street or in a free long stay car park a few yards down the road. The rooms, I must... More

Very clean B&B with good facilities. Staff were very welcoming and friendly the whole stay, however at breakfast they could be a bit more attentive. I waited around 40 minutes to pay my bill to check out before deciding to just leave it and pay it later. It's understandable that they were busy but it doesn't take 5 minutes to... More

We had room number 1. It faced the road but the noise wasn't too distracting unless you are a light sleeper. It was a little cramped and suffered from a completely unnecessary chest of drawers that took up space where a chair would be welcome. The bed was comfy enough but a little soft for our liking. The furniture was... More

We chose to stay in one of the deluxe rooms and it was definitely worth paying extra for. Fiona was very welcoming, the breakfast was delicious, the view over the sea loch was great and it was easy to go back into town. The added bonus was that we had the pool and jacuzzi to ourselves.

We received very warm welcome and were treated very nicely until the check out time. Room was very clean and warm (if you don`t like much heat radiator has thermostat that you can regulate temperature with). Very easy to get to. I really liked how friendly staff was. The only downside for me was big neon sign outside our room... More

My partner and son and I stayed overnight on our way to Ireland. We couldn't have had a warmer welcome, the rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable and every effort was made to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent, we couldn't fault it!

Nice little place to stay with clean rooms and comfy beds great view across the harbour but if you can't deal with stairs book early as its a long way up to the top floor, breakfast was ok but very greasy and bacon wasn't fresh so was very tough, BOY RACERS in the night so make sure the windows are...
