This former hunting lodge is very secluded, and we opted for a two night break with dinner. We were fortunate that we obtained a very good deal on the normal price. Its wild and a lot of places are closed in January, but that was Ok, and we had a very pleasant stay. The level of service was fist class,...

Peace and tranquility in Scotland! As a returning guest the service is as impeccable as remember the food is outstanding thanks to Tony the chef. Before booking our stay at the Knockinaam Lodge I read some of the reviews on here. Clearly many other people had enjoyed their stay and we arrived expecting a pleasant stay. In fact it far outshone our expectations! We had a wonderful relaxing stay in this friendly and comfortable small hotel. Our room (Churchill) was comfortable. The enormous bath was...

Absolutely brilliant time at Knockinaam and our first visit. Service excellent and the staff were outstanding- nothing was too much trouble. Loved the peaceful location, made to feel very welcome and comfortable. Meals perfect, well prepared and fresh foods. Winter visit with Immaculate grounds and rooms just like the website photos. We'll certainly return from Australia.

Visited last week for an overnight stay with another couple. Booked via hotel connections and I am not sure how they managed to give us such a great deal. We were the only guests overnight so it was like having your own private country home with personal chef and staff. We only met 3 of the staff but they were...

This hotel has been highly featured highly for many years and sometimes you fear standards can slip in such situations. Thanks to an excellent offer with Travelzoo we were able to afford to visit this weekend - I was last there twenty-four years ago! Following signs for several miles you arrive at the hotel to be greeted at the car...

Our 22nd visit was as perfect as all the others over 24 years; service, comfort, food, hospitality, this time even the incredible weather. Getting away from it all is a special experience at Knockinaam.
