A large old fashioned house with modern extensions added for bedrooms. The food and menu choice was very good with ample portions. In extensive wooded grounds so you can explore without leaving the property. Ample car parking.

We were lucky to get 2 rooms at the last minute - perfect for us as both ground floor and accessible for my old mum. Plus rooms large enough to cater for 3 young children. The hotel were more than hospitable, even with our noisy brood. The family room was spacious with its own handy lounge area and 2 TV's!...

Great location for exploring the Solway Coast. Nothing special about the accommodation but it was perfectly adequate. Couldn't fault the staff, who were all helpful, or the food which good and reasonably priced.

Stopped in for a pub lunch. The owner was charming, the food was very tasty and well priced. the bar area is cosy and welcoming. This was not my first visit to Clonyard and as always I was not disappointed I would recommend a visit.

What a fantastic Hogmanay break. We are a vibrant family of 5 - children aged 11, 10 and 6 and could not be made to feel more welcome. We arrived as guests but left as friends. Terri and Neil could not run a more hospitable hotel. No request was too much for them. Our Hogmanay break was the best we...
