We were on a walking holiday and arrived rather wet and muddy. Mr Hepburn, the owner dried our sodden clothes which was a relief. This B & B is ideally situated for The St Cuthbert's Way. The furniture and fittings and decor are pristine.....the quiet resident's lounge a real bonus.....quality toiletries appreciated....and the mattress excellent.....as was the breakfast. The only... We stayed here for 2 nights whilst attending a wedding locally. It is a lovely place, the bedroom was larger and much nicer than i expected. There was also the advantage of a guest lounge. If you are the kind of person who appreciates attention to detail and a great deal of effort - then this is the place for you. It price matches B & B's in the area - but the house is as stated by other reviewers - impecably presented, comfortable and understated. The guest rooms are immaculate as are the bathrooms... More

We were just staying here one night while we went to a wedding in nearby Dryburgh Abbey. This B&B is basically in the owners' beautiful house, so it is like being taken into their home.
