We stopped at this hotel for a coffee and scones. We had a discount from our Abbey entry. The staff were lovely, the coffee was good and the scones were delicious, light and freshly baked. We had a bacon and Brie sandwich too which came with three well filled pieces and salad on the side. A smart and charming break...

We had a voucher and booked this trip well in advance. It turned out to be the sunniest, warmest weekend this year. Arrived at the hotel which looked so inviting, the pink sandstone shown off to its best advantage. The hotel is nicely situated between Dryburgh Abbey and the Tweed. A lovely walk along the Tweed is a must. A...

The hotel is superb and the food very good, the breakfast which usually in hotels is poor this is the best ever..... We stayed overnight on a motorcycle tour of the Lake District and the Scottish Borders. Enjoyed it so much we have rebooked for August this year.

Visited Dryburgh Abbey Hotel for one night as part of a regional fishing trip - cannot fault the location, a stones throw from the river and walking distance to several beats. Unfortunately, the hotel is let down by the staff and service - there's no doubt they're working hard but it's quite evident there either hasn't been enough training or...

This was real soul food for my wife and I and our dog Barney, the Bedlington terrier. A fantastic location on the banks of the Tweed with stunning views across the Scottish Borders. Lovely big room on the ground floor with a king size bed. Dated bathroom and lousy shower but great staff. Also, the hotel is in the process...

The beautiful river Tweed runs past the hotel and magnificent views can be had from the windows. Walking, fishing and other outdoor pursuits are easily accessed from the hotel. It is ideal for exploring the...

We stayed at the Dryburg Abbey hotel for 1 night. The room although small was very clean and comfortable. There were tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary toiletries and a freeview TV. We made use of the indoor pool and sauna and dined in the bistro. There is a lovely walk down by the river and a huge lawned area...

It is 40 years since last visit; a little apprehensive that the place might be crumbling, with guests to match. What a treat this place is; in a fabulous location on the banks of the River Tweed with the romantic ruins of an abbey next door. I get the impression the hotel is a popular wedding venue; was fully booked...
