We stayed at the wigwam campsite so this was the closest pub for food as we found on the first night in Scotland. Really busy with sky sports to boot! In total we ate here for 4 nights and each time the food was great! Mid range priced, quick service and always hot! We tried the steak pie, Tyndrum special,... More

One of our stops in the West Highland Way. An unfriendly lady at the reception desk. We had a very small twin room, no place for the bags, the door hung askew and couldn't close (do repairs before guests arrive) Food was what pubs usely serve. In your raincoat to the breakfastroom in the annex. Make your own toast. And... More

This hotel enjoys a prime position in Tyndrum, on the West Highland Way....just North of Loch Lomond and just South of Rannoch Moor (Glencoe etc). I suspect this is why it is as poor as it is. The owners maybe feel they are busy enough and don't need to try. It is basically a pub with accommodation. Reception is only... More

Lovely delicious 😋 food and great service. Dropped in on way up north and it was so good we'll be back. Homemade chilli a favourite. Understand new owners, and if so they're great. Mother had ribs and little boy had pasta from kiddies menu and it was delicious. Grew house wine also.

These type of places are a bit of an embarrassment and all too common in Scotland. The decor is tired, parts of the hotel look grubby.mThe room we were in had a funny odor. Incredibly there was absolutely nowhere in the room to hang clothes. Rubbish place, overpriced and given the bar and hotel is so busy it really is... More

Friendly pub with good food at good prices, good menu. 8 of us and no complaints with any meal. Dog friendly too. Live entertainment on one evening we were there. Will go back. This is just to make up the required no. of characters !

We liked the menu having had a hard walk on this day as part of our West Highland Way journey. 5 adults and 2 kids and our black Labrador Darth Vader all settled into the bar for what we hoped would be a good fuel stop. The menu was typical pub grub and being a bit tired we didn't like... More

The breakfast was lovely, the staff very accommodating. However, a female who I can only guess was the owner/manager was extremely curt in her manner when there was absolutely no need to be so. We left as soon as we could, which was a real shame as this was a last family treat before heading home after a wonderful holiday.

Stopped by here whilst staying locally and enjoyed a lovely dinner with family, staff really pleasant & food was lovely.l, although my husband was a little disappointed with the portion size of his curry, felt there wasn't enough. My son attempted the ben lui burger which was stacked full of burger, haggis, sliced sausage & cheese! I had the calzone... More

The room was mid-sized with a nice size bureau if you were spending more than one day at the hotel. The armoire was also a suitable size. The bathroom was on the small size but the shower had good pressure.
