I booked to stay following the second day of my JOGLE from Inverness. Ellen and Andy were perfect hosts. Very attentive and helpful. Spotlessly clean room and en-suite with all facilities I needed. Excellent home cooked food and a breakfast that set me up to cycle onto Gretna Green. Would love to go back when walking the West Highland Way.

We arrived soaking wet, having travelled all morning in pouring rain on our motorbike. Ellen took it all in her stride and we made use of the very much appreciated Drying Room which is provided thoughtfully at this B&B. We were treated to home made flapjacks and tea and we settled in straight away. Our room was a lovely, spacious... More

Welcomed by home made cake and jams, Ellen and Andy made sure our stay was well catered for. The lodge is fully equipped and I really didn't need to bring all the items I had. None of the little hotel cups here (I bring a mug when ever I travel) and fresh milk in the fridge. Free wifi and a... More

IF you're lucky enough to get a room here - look no further! The warmest of welcomes from a couple who can't do enough to make your stay perfect in every way including the arrival pot of tea and home made baking. A sizeable double room, well appointed and immaculate with a small but perfectly adequate en suite with shower.... More

A lovely B&B on the West Highland Way. Very welcoming - home from home. Much appreciated cup of tea and flapjack on arrival and a chance to relax in the small conservatory. Room was very comfortable. Delicious breakfast - fresh fruit, yoghurt :) Sorry to only spend one night there - but the WHW beckoned, helped by a lovely packed... More

We stopped here for a night whilst walking the West Highland Way. We were warmly welcomed with tea and flapjack in the conservatory and made to feel at home. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. We pre-arranged an evening meal with Ellen and were so glad that we did as the food was superb. We made use of the... More

This was the best B&B of the whole WHW trip. It is just off the route (across a stream and the main road) before you get to Tyndrum. The owners were welcoming and friendly and if you pre-arrange they will cook you an evening meal. This is well worthwhile as the food was excellent and it saves you a walk... More

A welcome oasis on the West Highland Way. Great food and so accommodating with any requests for help. Love the entrance with two hens clucking out front! Comfortable rooms with great views. Crossing the stream to get here caused some laughter as one person missed his footing and fell in. Thank you for your hospitality.
