We had a lovely stay. The lodge was lovely and comfortable. Lovely views and very peaceful. It was kitted out with everything we needed. The owners were very nice and the chickens were funny. We will definitely be back again soon. Jim and Juliette

We stopped at Glengarry House for two separate nights both were brilliant. Such a friendly warm welcome, had a very delicious home cooked evening meal, lots of choices for a wonderful breakfast and a very filling packed lunch. The accommodation was spotless and thoughtful touches in the rooms. This really felt like a home from home would definitely recommend staying here.

Glengarry house was a very welcome sight at the end of an unusually hot August day on the West Highland Way. We were met by an exceptionally warm and genuine Ellen, offered tea and delicious flapjacks (calorie free, apparently) and shown to our tastefully decorated and very well appointed room. Meticulous attention to detail at Glengarry and every thing has... More

This was a very comfortable stop on the West Highland Way . We stayed in a double room with a private bathroom ( book extremely early to get an ensuite ) . Ellen and Andy were very welcoming and Ellen cooked a lovely evening meal . Excellent drying room for wet gear. The only slight downside was the walk along... More

The warmest welcome yet from all of our hosts on the WHW. The attention to detail is second to none. Made to feel very welcome by Andy ("the face of Glengarry House") and Ellen (the brains, the homely touches and "the Boss", no matter what Andy might tell you!). The welcoming brew and home made flapjack were a nice touch.... More

We stayed here for two nights on our hike of the WHW. This little guest house was a highlight. It is warm and welcoming and Andy and Ellen are so kind. There is a drying room, so important after a day on the wet Scottish trails and we were welcomed with tea and one of Ellen's tasty flapjacks. Our room... More

Lovely bed and breakfast place run by very hospitable people. Room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was small but also very clean. Breakfast was very good with fresh eggs from the hens they have here. Nothing was too much trouble.

I booked to stay following the second day of my JOGLE from Inverness. Ellen and Andy were perfect hosts. Very attentive and helpful. Spotlessly clean room and en-suite with all facilities I needed. Excellent home cooked food and a breakfast that set me up to cycle onto Gretna Green. Would love to go back when walking the West Highland Way.

We arrived soaking wet, having travelled all morning in pouring rain on our motorbike. Ellen took it all in her stride and we made use of the very much appreciated Drying Room which is provided thoughtfully at this B&B. We were treated to home made flapjacks and tea and we settled in straight away. Our room was a lovely, spacious... More
