So I showed up on Mabel's doorstep with no reservation and nowhere else to go...after walking in the rain for hours and hours. They were kind enough to take me in and were warm and friendly despite the fact... More

We have just spent 6 great nights here.I slept right through each night, very unusual for me.Lovely ensuite and refreshing shower. The breakfasts were first class,Mabel couldn't do enough for us.Although I was introducing my wife to 'the hills' we could easily have sat outside watching the birds feeding and saying 'hello' to Sky,one of the dogs. They have a drying room for... This is a fabulous BB, the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The ensuite room was very clean and the bathroom has an excellent shower. The view from the room is wonderful vista looking towards the mountains. When we arrived we were greeted with coffee and home baking-lovely. We had a great nights sleep and in the morning we had an... More

We booked this place based on reviews and we were not disappointed. Very warm and welcoming, food was very good. I would recommend this place on your way yo Glen Coe. Room itself was big and confortable with ensuite.

This was an excellent find traveling between Mallaig and Sterling? A delightful place with big bedroom and ensuite. Very friendly owners. Lovely views over the hills and an excellent base for exploring the area.

A wonderful place to stop for some rest and recovery on the WHW. Mabel was so friendly and helpful. The bed was super comfy and the ensuite shower was splendid, and we're still talking about the delicious breakfast! Would definitely recommend!

We stayed at the Old Church for one night as we set out on the West Highland Way, and were pleasantly surprised by the excellent and warm hospitality we experienced. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast we received in the morning made for an excellent start of the day. In addition we received an unexpected present in the... More

We had a lovely stay in the Old Church, after a long day of walking the West Highland Way. Mabel had tea and delicious homemade scones with homemade jam and fruit cake on arrival. Exactly what we needed after walking for so many miles. The house was lovely, decorated beautifully and the bed was very comfortable. Even the dog and... More

My wife and I stayed here while walking the West Highland Way and it was a welcome respite. Mabel greeted us with a twinkle in her eye and made us feel right at home. One thing I learned about Scotland in the 12 days we were there is that they all have very small showers but the shower at The... More
