I was initially unsure about the fact that we had to walk past our beds for the night to The Rowerdennan Hotel, however these fears were most certainly unfounded. We arrived at The Rowerdennan Hotel to have our tea. We called...

We stayed here after day two of walking the West Highland Way. Wonderful hosts provided wonderful accommodations and a fantastic breakfast that fueled us for the very challenging next day's walk along the Loch. We highly recommend the Anchorage Cottage!

An excellent B&B right on the west highland way. The rooms were great, the breakfast was great (I especially liked the porridge) and the hosts were very accommodating and nice! I would highly recommend it to anyone walking the Way or just spending time around Loch Lomond!

Very comfortable and cozy place right at Loch Lomond and perfect as a second stop on the WHW. We stayed two nights and couldn't have picked a more perfect place to spend one extra day to explore the area a bit. The breakfast was the best we had on the whole West Highland Way. Izzy and Ivor are two absolutely...

This was our 3rd stop walking the West Highland Way. Anchorage cottage is situated on the banks of Loch Lomond with stunning views all round. Izzy and Ivor are a lovely couple who are most welcoming. Ivor picked us up from the Rowardennan Hotel as we had to walk past the cottage to get an evening meal from the hotel....

From the moment we met Izzy and Ivor we were treated like friends and welcome guests. Our room was beautiful, spacious and very comfortable. An extra nice touch was the lovely anniversary card and treats that were left for us in our room upon arrival. What a wonderful treat after a hard day of hiking! We were passing through Rowardennan...

Such an efficient an comfortable stay with every comfort and assistance. We left our bags here before walking the extra 4 miles to the nearest pub for dinner and then were returned to Rowardennan again the next morning to carry on with our walk. Had a really good stay and a delicious breakfast.

An excellent b&b for our second stop on WHW. An amazing house in a beautiful setting. We were so well looked after; Ivor even collected us from Rowardennan and took us back the following morning. Thoroughly recommended.
