Stayed at the Lodge in the September weekend for the first time with my husband n brought the dog along. What a great Lodge in a fantastic location. The hotel was total luxury and relaxing with amazing views from our balcony. The room we had was Corbett and had a sauna in room....what a treat. The bar was really great for relaxing with a drink and again our dog was welcome. The staff were fab giving him treats and taking time to give him some attention. Breakfast was also tasty and fresh we had a hot breakfast and some buffet items....one of the best breakfast I have had! Would not hesitate to return or recommend to anyone looking for a wee break, cannot wait to back 😀

We have been coming to The Lodge on Loch Lomond for 16 years. We stayed at The Lodge on Thursday to celebrate our daughters18th. Just wanted you to know that we had the most fabulous stay. Your staff were delightful and exceptionally attentive but not at all obtrusive. We felt so safe with all the measures you have in place. In fact, we would never have known that COVID existed...our stay was just perfect and so enjoyable. The food was, as always exquisite 👌. We will never tire of the views. This is truly a piece of heaven on earth. Thanks to all at the Lodge for such an amazing stay.

Enjoyed a very relaxing over night stay. Food at night was excellent and the breakfast in the morning was also excellent. Very friendly staff who took the time to converse with visitors. Keep up the good work .

A bit soulless. Not an attractive building from the outside and a bit spartan looking inside. Room decent size and well equipped but a bit worn around the edges. The restaurant, with its shiny formica table tops, has the look of a canteen, in spite of the marvelous setting. The food was unadventurous but pretty well done on the whole. Confused covid precautions, wear masks, but self service breakfast buffet where all touch everyone else's food. The staff were very friendly.

Possibly a generous review as, when we arrived, our rooms had been confused due to messages going astray. We were very tired after a stressful trip from the South. However, the reception staff pitched in and, although I had one night in a room not of my choice, by the next morning it had been sorted. I thank Sarah on reception for her efficiency at sorting a problem and for her care in ensuring we suffered the minimum disruption. And for her smiling good humour and ability to deal with a grumpy old man! Once the above was sorted we had a very nice three days. The rooms are very comfortable, the views over Loch Lomond amazing, the general service very good despite obvious Covid and Brexit-induced staff shortages and the food, which I have reviewed separately, well above expectations. The location on the edge of Luss is ideal and we had two very nice walks. We were attending a wedding at the hotel and that was efficiently run and a happy occasion.

Room Tip: Even if only up for a wedding, stay longer and try the walks in Luss and the surrounding area,...
