We had an excellent stay at Shantron Farm. The Loch View room gives you a fantastic view of Loch Lomond. Ann is an enthousiastic host, very friendly, and cooks a delicious breakfast. Breakfast is served in a lounge with a large panorama window looking over the Loch. And last but not least, Ann has invested a lot of effort in... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in the Loch view room. Ann so welcoming and friendly and the best breakfast we have ever had at a B and B. She makes all her own jam, scones, potato cakes and pancakes and there is so much of it! Wifi very hit and miss and no tv's in the bedrooms which was a... More

Comfortable clean room with adequate shower room. Lounge with good views additional tea making facilities and lovely shortbread and other home baking provided. Very good choice for breakfast served by Ann with homemade bread, porridge etc. Furnishings and decoration a little bit dated. Ann was very welcoming and helpful. Good walks on the farm. Car necessary to reach Luss or... More

The farm is ideally placed near Loch Lomond. We only stayed one night and we were made very welcome. The room was pleasant and had an en-suite. Great breakfast including fresh kippers. We are on a tour of Scotland and staying in B&Bs across Scotland. My only criticism would be price we found the charge to be a about 20%... More

This was our second visit here, chosen the first time for its proximity to Glasgow Airport. We chose it this time for the same reason but even more because we really enjoyed visiting with the hostess, Anne. We felt like we had returned to the home of a friend. Breakfast was huge, the views down to Loch Lomond gorgeous, and... More

The breakfast was superb, smoked haddock, wonderful porridge, homemade breads and lemon curd, etc.while enjoying the view! Anne Lennox and her family made us feel immediately welcome and at home in spite of rain and the middle of the shearing. We spent three days pottering around the area, and the house was just a wonderful place to return to each evening, not to mention the wonderful breakfast and chats with Anne. And the view from the front... More

My cousins and I were traveling on a 4 day tour of Scotland and booked this B&B for our first night's lodging. The farm is slightly off the main highway in the Loch Lomond area, but easily accessible. Our rooms, both with attached bath's, were clean, well supplied with fresh linens, toiletries and also a tea/coffee service. There were homemade... More
