Just back from a one night stay on an internet deal - had a lovely time. Sometimes you feel like a second class citizen handing over your voucher, but here we couldn't have been made feel more welcome. From the moment we checked in the staff were friendly, accommodating and professional. We were given Room 3 (to the front on...

The welcome and atmosphere are outstanding - like a family hotel vs. the typical faceless bland and 'cold' places you get so many of these days - the hotel is very nice with relatively modern rooms. The staff could not do enough for me. The food is probably the best in Killin, it's as though they've got a couple of...

My wife and I travelled to Killin to spend a couple of nights at The Bridge of Lochay Hotel. The reception was a warm one when we were met by one of the guys working in the Family run business. He was very welcoming, and showed us to our room. The accommodation was very comfortable consisting of a large bedroom...

After a weekend camping in a stormy north West coast of Scotland I emailed the owners of the Bridge of Lochay to see if they would allow me to use a 5pm voucher prior to its start date. The email replies were friendly and confirmed that we would be most welcome. The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and...

We had a lovely few days staying here. The hotel is situated in a beautiful area, lots of spectacular drives around. My favourite is along Glen Lyon. The view from our room of the river was great (please don't let the tree get too big or it will block the river view by the bridge!!). The room was comfortable, tea,...

A local gave us a tip to eat here so whilst staying a few nights at killin highland lodges we ventured down on the last night, the service was excellent, food was superb and we would return! The menu had lots to choose from, I had the haddock you joins then duck which was melt in your mouth. Couldn't fault...

Having been told on our way to a different hotel that there was no room for us, and being sent to a second hotel that also didn't have the promised room we were starting to panic. Our phones were almost out of battery but we managed to find the number of a hotel and luckily for us it was this...

I cannot comment on the actual room or comfort, but only on our bad experience from the reservations process. We called the hotel directly and asked for a family room for four and told non were available but that we can have two adjacent rooms and be charged according to who would be using them i.e. 2x children and 2x...

I am sorry that you did not stay with us as you had hoped recently. Unfortunately our member of staff who took your reservation over the telephone did not understand that you were intending on allowing your daughters to sleep in a room on their own. When you arrived at the hotel and I greeted you I realised her mistake...
