We have been coming here on and off for many years and with different owners. The current owners - Bob and Amanda, are clearly very good at the business. The staff are all really friendly and attentive.
We visited for dinner tonight on a chance booking for 2 adults and a toddler. The place was very warm and cosy with a friendly gent behind the bar waiting to greet us, some of the tables were reserved so we were seated in the...More

Hi. Yes dogs are most welcome. If you let us know when booking we now put a pet set in your room for you. We charge an additional £10 per stay to have your dog in your room. Some of our guests like to dine with their dog and this can be done (using the same menu as elsewhere in the hotel) but we do recommend booking in advance as we have limited space in the bar area. We are, however, happy for guests to leave well behaved dogs in the room if guests prefer to do this, or often guests leave their dog in the car whilst they dine. We hope to see you soon!
