We stayed in Kip in the Kirk on our first day on the west Highland way. We were given a lovely greeting from the owner Francis, shown our room and invited into the kitchen and treated to beautiful homemade scones and coffee. The place was immaculate, the rooms were lovely and the location is great. I would definitely recommend kip...

We stayed here on our first night walking the West Highland Way. Very comfortable, clean and everything worked. Solid building with 3' walls. Felt safe! Coffee and scones on arrival were just whatcwe needed. Close to a couple of pubs for dinner. Good continental breakfast

3' walls have a downside - you can't tell what the weather is like ! Glad you enjoyed your stay.

We stayed for our first night on the WHW, in the ensuite double room. Lovely comfy bed, beautiful building with stained glass windows and fab wet room type ensuite. What a great welcome with tea and yummy scones and the chance to chat to other guests if wished. There is also a bunkhouse shared room here. Sadly our airline lost...

Not many guests get to see our Buchanan Castle ruin, the view point and millionaires row, most can only manage as far as the pub!

After day 1 on the whw we were astonished at the level of care put into everything here. This place is absolute heaven for hikers and holidayers both. Every little detail has been considered and provided for. Great price, great beds, great everything!

Bit late submitting this review as our visit was during October 2015. This is a gem of a hotel and i cannot recommend the place enough. Great location for various activities around Trossachs, Loch Lomond and Glencoe. Nice little restaurants in and around Drymen itself to visit also. The hotel accomodation was excellent. Very modern rooms, immaculately clean and comfortable....
