Very Warm and interesting couple with great stories. Facilities are just what you expect for the west highland way walkers- clean but basic. The breakfast the next day was wonderful with so many options! The home made jam was particularly incredible. We had a lovely time- thank you

When we arrived we were provided with tea and cake .The landlady and her husband were very nice indeed and I enjoyed their company. Facilities were very nice and a very homely feeling. If your looking for somewhere to stay in Drymen I would strongly recommend Lander. Thank you

Lovely b and b. The landlady was very welcoming, greeting us with cake and a hot drink upon our arrival. The twin room was lovely and spacious, with a small television and hot drink making facilities. The breakfast was a full english, inc toast, cereals, fruit. The location is ideal for whw walkers - just a few mins walk off... More

My wife and I stayed at the Lander B&B on the first night of hiking the West Highland Way, having done 12 miles from Milngavie. The welcome from Frances was perfect, a nice cuppa and a scone. The room was spacious enough for my wife and I, and as we discovered as we continued hiking there is a major benefit... More

If you love homely welcomes, home -cooked breakfast in a homely kitchen with home made preserves and plenty of conversation with Frances, your host, them this is the place for you. What a lovely welcome but don't expect 4 star accommodation. It's clean and basic with shared facilities and just 2 bedrooms but Frances and David and the warmth of... More

We stayed with David and Frances on 11/10/15 and if it wasn't for the WHW I would have never left the comfort of their beautiful home! From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with such warmth, offered tea and biscuits, advised Mrs landers was only in the next room so free to help with anything we needed. The rooms... More

Frances and David are experienced and welcoming hosts. The scones and tea upon arrival were most appreciated. Small rooms but everything is provided. Shower was easy to operate and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was plentiful. Great stories from Frances who OBVIOUSLY enjoys welcoming people to her home. Ideal stopover on the West Highland Way.

Frances is very welcoming, with scones and tea upon arrival. Very chatty and lots of interesting stories to tell. Nice stop in Drymen for those walking the West Highland Way - with a dog especially. Great freshly cooked breakfast in the morning.

A very well priced B&B. It feels a lot more like staying in someone's home than your traditional B&B. Francis and David where both lovely people who couldn't have been more helpfull. In fact they were kind enough to put 3 people up in their garden as a make-shift campsite as they hadn't booked anything in advance! We ate at... More
